“The Place to Stay in Cusco”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

My family had two rooms with 5 people and the were spacious. Very good for those traveling with children. The staff was outstanding, especially Elio at the breakfast and Darcy at the bar in the evening. The location is perfect. The foundation of the hotel was an Inka Palace and the hotel is beautiful with great history.

In the middle of beautiful Cusco, I truly thought nothing could rival the natural surroundings but the Palacio Del Inka was an absolutely grand and breath taking experience. Just as gorgeous as it is well run, the service here is 5 star as is the food, cleanliness and graciousness. Our server at lunch, Edson, could not have been more helpful, kind and knowledgeable. All around, my best service experience in Peru!!

This hotel is just perfect. The architecture is a combination of Inca and Spanish colonial. It is actually an archeological site! The chief concierge Carlos Fernandez Baca took care of us as if we were royalty. We booked a standard room, however upon arrival we were given three choices of upgrade! We chose the senior suite with its grand colonial architecture and artwork. there is artwork all over the hotel, in the lobbies stairwells, rooms dining area etc. The SPA was luxurious, the bedding was dreamy and the location is perfect. An easy walk to the square. My wife purchased a handmade table cloth at a showing arranged by the Hotel. All in all, this is the place to stay in Cusco. Our 5 night stay November 14-19 was perfect. We used this hotel as a base for our sacred valley tour and Machu Picchu tours. Make sure you meet Carlos and give him our regards. He was helpful throughout our stay.

Room Tip: WE chose the Senior Suite facing traffic. However the shutters and shades and glass enclosure kept o...

Due to a train strike we had to stay in Cuzco for an extra night . The service was tops room was good and meals were excellent. A short walk away from the main square but still close to the centre. A lot to see and do in the area.

The Palacio de Inka was absolutely wonderful. We went for our honeymoon this month and had an exceptional experience. The service was top-notch (some of the best service i've ever had in my many travels). Everything was seamless from the beginning to end of our stay. We were upgraded to an unbelievable Suite upon arrival (I'm a Gold SPG member and they also knew it was our honeymoon). In the suite they had champagne, a heart shaped cake, and swan shaped towels and flowers waiting for us. Throughout our stay we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast, a thermal spa treatment, and delicious room service. Everyone at the Palacio went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Roger and the concierge staff were such a pleasure to work with. When even the slightest thing went wrong, they were quick to fix it. I even had the kindest gentlemen sit with me and an oxygen tank when Cusco's altitude got the best of me. Overall, just a wonderful experience. Would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Cusco that wants to feel special and appreciated. Loved this hotel!

I had walked by this hotel on previous trips to Cusco and always wished to stay there. It did not fail my expectations. Rooms were large and beautiful, staff was attentive and friendly and everything about our stay was wonderful. I can heartily recommend the hotel restaurant; both for the included breakfast and other meals. Cusco is a fascinating city and the Palacio is the place to stay. Only downside to this hotel is wifi is only available in the lobby areas.

This is a top notch hotel that captures the charm and history of Cuzco, the old Inca capital so well. Imagine listening to El Condor Pasa played on an Andean harp while enjoying a fine breakfast spread, sitting amidst stone columns overlooking a picturesque courtyard with beautiful flowers? And with impeccable service to boot. That was the welcome we received on our first morning in Cuzco at the hotel. Highly recommended. Our only complaint is that the room was too warm due to overheating.

Room Tip: A room overlooking the courtyard would be nice.
