“Beautiful Historic Hotel, Incredible Service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 12, 2014

This was one of the best hotel experiences we've had in all our travels. The location is excellent, in the heart of Cusco across the street from the Qorikancha. The hotel was once part of the Incan temple and then served as a Spanish palace, and the building has been lovingly restored. The staff was incredible, and goes out of their way to provide for your every need. Every member of the staff, from the front desk to the restaurant to the bell hops went out of their way to make our stay easy. We've never felt more at home in a hotel before. The hotel restaurants have great food, and though more pricy than other food in Cusco, prices are still reasonable. Our waiter Edson served us for several meals and did an incredible job, making our dining experiences great.

Room Tip: Some room have a view of the Qorikancha/Monestary (not sure which ones)

Dear Guest,
Thank you for your kind comments about our Palacio del Inka.
As you mentioned the location is excellent, in the heart of Cusco across the street from the Qorikancha; the hotel was once part of the Incan temple and then served as a Spanish palace, and the building has been restored.

One of the best luxury hotels I've ever stayed at. Perfect location to the main plaza and other city sights. Excellent hotel service, concierge (ask for Roger), and amenities (ask for oxygen if you are having trouble with the altitude) with quite a breakfast spread. Highly recommend this hotel as well as Tikariy, their travel agency. They coordinate a great door to door, round trip to Machu Picchu.

Room Tip: Forth flour has a great public balcony. SPG Platinum members should ask for an upgrade.

Loved our experience staying here. It was in the center of Cusco within walking distance to the main Plaza and next to the beautiful Santo Domingo Cathedral. The staff were amazing, helpful trying their very best to please you. Food at the hotel was great, gourmet level. Breakfast buffet was lovely. The setting is amazing. So so tastefully done. Message and Spa were perfect. Would definitely return.

Room Tip: Ask for view of the Cathedral.

My wife and I stayed for 4 night at Palacio during out trip to Cusco. The staff and the hotel were amazing. The concierge was very helpful in providing information about the city, attractions, day trips and helping us with recommendations and reservations on places to dine. We stayed in a Queen bed room, the room was spacious, clean and the amenities were top notch. They even arranged the airport pick up and drop off. Would definitely go back.

Room Tip: All rooms are good and quiet. Ask for upgrades to the colonial suites if available.

Beautiful hotel built on Inca ruins with great service by all of the hotel's staff, and close proximity to museums and archeological sites. The restaurant has great food and is a 5-star service all around.
