“Homely hotel in central Cusco”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 7, 2013

We stayed here for 4 nights prior to moving on to the NM in Lima. We really loved our stay. The rooms were spacious and well lit, and we loved the decor. The staff went out of their way (Evelyn) to make sure our stay was pleasant, and made sure we had everything we needed. Location was one of the best things about this place. At the back door of a coupe of Cusco's best hotels, it says something about the neighborhood. Really recommend this one to those looking for a special unique stay on a budget!

Room Tip: We had the Blue room, which was perfect for two - and loved the little balcony out the front!.

“Location, location, location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 26, 2013 via mobile

Only a few steps away from the centre of Cusco, this was one of the best located hotels on our trip. We really enjoyed this colonial style building. The modern touches to the rooms were pleasant and we found the hotel excellent value. The steps up to our room on the third floor were a bit of a
Climb the first day due to altitude( maybe my bad lungs!) but the enjoyment of the hotel outshone the one drawback. Our loft room was light, spacious and I enjoyed the separate tv area. A good stay was had, mostly due to the convenience!

“A great little hotel with helpful staff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 24, 2013

I stayed in this hotel for three nights in January 2013. The hotel has been recently renovated and the rooms are clean and very modern. The location is great (less than 5mins to Plaza de Armas and located between here and Plaza san Blas) although when I stayed there wasn't a sign on the outside which meant it wasn't easy for others to find. The breakfast was simple but nice and always ready waiting for you. The staff seemed organised and when the shower in my room broke they got a handyman very quickly to come and fix it and moved me to an even bigger room! Unfortunately the basin in this room also blocked so I think there might be some teething issues with the plumbing in the hotel that they should probably have got sorted out before opening for business. Overall though, I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay.

“Great location and well renovated”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 14, 2013

A great location, just a few blocks from the main plaza in Cusco. The hotel has just been renovated and has a modern but Andean theme. The balcony rooms are the best - with a private heritage listed balcony and large room area.

“Great Value, Fantastic Location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 14, 2013

A friend of ours stayed November 2012, and recommended my wife and I stay at the hotel during our visit in Feb. I cannot commend the hotel enough. The staff (In particular Juan Jose) was always willing to help us with everything we asked for and more. The hotel has been refurbished and am told it also has new owners. It shows from the first look I had at the website, a different hotel! Rooms were spacious (we had a balcony suite) the "blue room", and location couldn't be beat. Jacks cafe over the road is a must! Would stay here again and the best hotel on our Peru trip so far.

Room Tip: One of the Balcony rooms!
