“This place is a gem.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 12, 2012

I discovered this place on trip advisor , and I will be telling my friends about this nice and charming restaurant .
Every dish that we ordered was absolutely delicious. The pasta were my personal favorite.
For dessert, we had the vanilla ice with coffee whipped cream- it was amazing !!!.The service was quick and attentive.

“A passion for food!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 8, 2012

We arrived in Cuzco after extensive travel through South America. We'd been enjoying Peruvian food, but were happy to try some worthy alternatives in Cuzco's relatively international dining scene. Roma Mia did not disappoint!
We were in Cuzco for a bit over a week and ended up eating there three times. It's easy enough to get decent pizza in South America, but to find proper Italian pasta is a real treat and that - along with the hospitality of the owners - is what drew us back for multiple visits. Ana and Danilo made us feel like welcome friends every time we climbed the stairs to their restaurant. Danilo is from Rome, and his Italian passion and enthusiasm for food is obvious and infectious.
Over the course of our visits, we tried a few different pasta dishes, risotto, bruschetta, salads and some veggie sides, and all of it was delicious. Portions are also generous.
The dining areas are full of photos of Italian cities and celebrities and the music is exclusively Italian artists - makes you feel like you've been transported from Peru to Italy just by walking up the stairs to the restaurant. :-)
To add to the the NY Pizza conversation on this page - I've eaten pizza in NY/the States and in Italy and while both are good, they might as well be two different types of food! If you're looking for NYC pizza in Cuzco, good luck. If you are looking for awesome Italian food in Cuzco, Roma Mia will deliver!

“Excellent Genuine Italian in Cusco”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2012

The Chef is from Rome, and you can tell from the food. Pasta and pizza were excellent. For those looking for NY Style Pizza, this is not American-style Italian food. It is Italian style Italian. Simple and delicious! Chatted with the owners for a few minutes after the meal and they were very friendly and welcoming as well.

“NOT better than NY Pizza”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 24, 2012

My wife and I felt compelled to go to Roma Mia because a couple of reviews stated that the pizza was better than the Pizza you get in NY. We were very disappointed and have to wonder what the reviewers where thinking. Although the service was fine, the pizza was no where near NY pizza...in fact, I would rate it lower than the Peruvian restaurants that serve pizza. Unfortunately, I have to rate this restaurant low because it just wasn't any better than pizza from a grocery store. The best pizza we had in Cusco was a place under the Irish Pub on the SouthEast portion of the Plaza De Armas on San Blas and Santa Catalina Angosta (not sure of the name or the exact street names). The eggplant pizza (I know it sounds weird) was awesome.

Kikdiver estimate, we are very sorry that the pizza you did not like, but as every dish pizza is a matter of taste, many Americans who have visited us liked, prepare the pizza is Italian style, Many Italians visited and have eaten pizza here as in italy.
Best Regards

“Best Italian restaurant in Cusco”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2012

There are thousand of pseudo Italian restaurants in Peru but this is the first authentic one. Being Italian I can say that everything on the menu is prepared in the right way with original Italian ingredients and an Italian chef!
As a plus is not expensive at all, I spent more money for awful cheap pizza in aguas calientes...
Highly recommended!
