“A different approach to a guest house”

the place makes you feel at home, or almost, particularly at meal times, sharing the food and the kitchen with Vittoria Soave and the rest of the team. Food delicious, quiet environment and athmosphere. If you ask they will walk you around the place and show you the different projects they are carrying out. It's worth the money you pay (70 soles per persona, breakfast included) because you know where it goes, the very good work that the people at Caith do with underprivileged girls from the Cusco area.
I've only got one negative thing to say about the "hospedaje": the rooms are freezing cold, they could really do with a few stoves to heat the room up a bit.

We loved our stay at Caith. Even if it's not located right in the centre, it is an easy 15 min walk or 5 min cab ride away. The special thing about this place is the family atmosphere it provides. If you stay here, make sure you have dinner. Every night, you can enjoy a copious Italian meal prepared by the owner sitting around a large table with fellow guests. The rooms are simple, very clean and comfortable and an excellent breakfast is included.
In addition to all this, you are supporting a great cause as the hostel finances a project helping underprivileged young local girls and women. You can find out more about this when you get there.
We would highly recommend this hospedaje to anyone who is staying in Cusco!

I arrived very early from an early bus and was immediatly sat down in the cosy farmhouse kitchen and given delicous hot coffee while a team of freindly young Peruvian women prepared a wonderful breakfast.

With wonderful views over Cusco, very clean and cosy rooms, a homely atmosphere, the option of a fantastic evening meal sat around the ´familyly´table, free internet and your money going towards looking after unfortunate girls and women from the local area, how could you possibly stay anywhere else?

How often do you get the chance to combine staying at a great Hospedaje and attributing to a good cause? Staying at Hospedaje Turismo Caith offers just that!
The rooms are comfortable and spotless with very good beds. Having breakfast in the big living-kitchen makes you feel at home, and the homecooking of the owner beats every restaurant in town!
We stayed for a week and absolutely loved it and would recommend it to everybody!

We stayed at this Hospedaje for several days and were overwhelmed by its homely atmosphere. Having breakfast and dinner at the large table with other travelers was a great pleasure and led to longer evenings than expected. Vittorias Italian/Peruvian home cooking is better than any restaurant!
The rooms was cozy, very clean and the bed was perfect.

To know, that with our stay there we supported a very good cause added up to the great experience.

Not only you are staying in a very comfortable place, with plenty of hot water, clean rooms, but you are supporting a great cause. Yanapanakuzún is an organization that supports and educates girls who have suffered abuse as domestic workers. It is an organization that gives these girls an opportunity for a different life and teaches them about their rights. I love this organization and everyone involved. Victoria one of the founders is an amazing woman, who has dedicated her life to this cause. She is funny, intelligent, sensitive and a great cook. If you stay in this place, you will find excellent food, the best coffee, and the best conversations. The people who stay there are just wonderful, there are volunteers from all over the world, especially Italy. You will make great friends. This is our second year in a row there, and I felt like I was returning home.

Room Tip: all the rooms are good

The Caith, or, Yanapanakusun Hostal, in Cusco is a great place to stay while exploring this wonderful city. The hostal has been established to assist exploited young girls with clean accommodation, caring mentors and schooling to help them in life. Not only will you be accommodated in lovely rooms but you will be invited into Victoria's kitchen for breakfast and even dinner. A mix of Italian and Peruvian food will leave you full and satisfied. And more importantly you will be helping to finance this great cause.

The hostal is only a short 20 minute stroll to the centre of Cusco.
