Good location, a walk away from busy central square area, good and cheap restaurants nearby. Only problem after as really long day in macchu pichu when we got back at 11pm we didnt have hot water to have a bath, we had to ask the personnel to turn it on again. They still use bottled LPG as fuel, and as it is expensive they turn it off after the normal time everyone had its bath.

We called through an interpreter and made a reservation with a person we were told was the owner, teliing them we would be driving all day and would get in late. We arrived at 9:00 pm to find there was a problem, no room available. They did direct us to a neighboring hotel (Eureka) which was ok, but I didn't need the problem at that point of the day. Subsequent associates stayed there and had a pack stolen from the entry/desk area.

Room Tip: Can't say as we didn't stay there

I stayed here with a friend and her daughter in early March 2012 for a trip to Machu Picchu. She found this after we had a bad experience at another property. The owners made us feel welcome and as if we were family. We had a very nice room with a loft bedroom upstairs, and a beautiful courtyard. Very reminiscent to me of Santa Fe, New Mexico or a small intimate ski lodge. Within walking distance of the center of town and great shopping. Nice small restaurants nearby that aren't too expensive either. The beds were very comfortable. Great place to come back to after a day of trekking Machu Picchu!

Room Tip: As far as I could see all of the rooms were nice!

WOW, what an amazing place. Family run by Adriel, his wife Mariela and younger brother Alex. We stayed prior to our trip to Machu Picchu and again after. They have a great facility, with wifi, breakfast room, large guest rooms, great beds (super comfortable) and good advice. They even let us sample their dinner one night. The location is great, only a block from San Blas church and walking downhill to Plaza de Armas is only 5 minutes. They are close enough to all the excitement, but in a quiet neighborhood for good rest! Highly recommended.

Nicely located in the San Blas neighbourhood where you'll find many small cafes-restaurants and lots of art shops, this hotel is simple but clean and is only 15min walk from Cusco's main square, the Plaza de Armas.

The rooms are clean and staff is friendly. Nice patio in the middle of the hotel to relax.

Many good and affordable restaurants nearby.

We wanted somewhere a bit nicer before our Salkantay trek and this place fitted the bill. Its near all the restaurants in San Blas and 10 minutes walk from the centre. Try bartering on price if they aren't busy.

I had a terrible experience, there was no hot water for a couple of days during my stay, breakfast was never ready by the time most tours pick you up at morning, the walls are so thin you can hear everything.
