This a really nice, cozy bar inside a beautiful colonial house, a couple of blocks from the main Plaza of Cuzco. It's a good place to go with friends and have a conversation, over some drinks. It's also good to have some drinks before partying.
What makes the place stand out, in any case, is the quality of the drinks. The Chilcano (pisco + homemade ginger ale) and the Sol y Sombra (Chilcano with soaked sour cherry) are out of this world. They are not particularly cheap, but they are huge. Even if you are a really good drinker, a couple of these will have some effect - a good one. They take some time to prepare these drinks, but it's definitely worth it, every minute and every cent you spend. You must try this place if you are in Cuzco and want to go out for drinks.
