We stayed at this small guest house for 5 nights either side of a trek to Machu Picchu and we had a fabulous time. The rooms were big, bright and clean. The water was always hot and we received fresh towels each day. The beds were very comfortable and also made freshly each day. The hotel is located at the top of a steep hill but we enjoyed the wonderful views from San Cristobal and the exercise was good for us (even though it was only 7-8 minutes walk to the central plaza). The staff always had a friendly greeting for us each day and they went out of their way to assist us - carry bags to our rooms, offering advice on our trek and helping us to book transport to, and a hotel at, our next destination. The price for the guest house is a little more than we would usually pay, however we were able to negotiate a very good deal by staying for several nights and also by foregoing breakfast. We'd really recommend anyone to consider this hidden gem in a quiet and pictuesque area in Cusco. Thanks for a great stay!
