Owner description: First, we’ll go to the "Inti-Nan" In-Situ Museum (at about 2400 meters above sea level, about 7800 feet), where you can see replicas of the Ecuadorian Highlands and Amazon and, of course, to learn about the Quitu-Cara culture, their comprehension, long before the Geodesic Mission, on the stars, and, therefore, the empowerment of the term "Center of the World"; this visit takes about 45 minutes (entrance not included).

“Old Town Tour Agency”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 24, 2013

While in Quito we used "Access Equator" tour agency (accessequator.com) to set up some of our tours. They were outstanding in all ways. Ask for Vernonica or Nelson (they both are good English speakers). Veronica set up an old town walking tour and an Otavalo tour, both of which were led by knowledgeable and good tour guides. Veronica was very thorough in everything. Nelson himself picked us up at the new Quito airport late at night. They also arranged for taxis to pick us up on three other occasions, one of which was at 2:30AM at our hotel to take us to the airport and the driver was right on time (no small feat in 3rd world countries). Their communication to confirm things and afterward was excellent. I would highly recommend them and would use them again. They are located in old town just down the street from the San Francisco de Quito hotel.

“A delightful walk through time”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 21, 2013

Typically the visitor undertakes this visit shortly after arrival in Quito when they may still be feeling the effects of the altitude - take it slow and easy and you will enjoy it that much more - it is also really worth exploring the old city in the evening - when everything is closed but all the buildings have wonderful lighting.

“Narrow streets are quaint”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 18, 2013

The Old Town was interesting. Up and down hills on narrow streets. We saw many churches from the 15 and 16th centuries and surrounding intesting monuments and buildings. Great tour.

“A surprise”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 15, 2013

Out of misconceptions, lack of information, we sometime underestimate the fullfilling role of a country , city . That was precisely my case before embarking in the Old Town Tour.
All the places emanate history, which you have to dig out. The Seven Crosses road is of particular interest . Other obvious attractions are all along this way. One will come across them inevitably. Museums, churches and even traditional hotels are worth visiting by foot, once you tag them beforehand in you tour

“A great intro to Quito”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2013

This bus tour highlights the sites of Quito so you can plan your preferences. Things not to miss are "La Compania" , the tour of the President's palace in Plaza Grande and the view of the city from Our Lady of Pichincha.
