“Segundo Muelle Wins Again”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 28, 2013

Without fail, one of the top spots for consistently good food and service. Everything we've had here is good, service is prompt and courteous, and deliciously fresh.

With the exception of the desserts, I have always enjoyed all the dishes here. Today I had a typical ceviche dish, with octopus, shrimp, and seafood in a mildly spicy sauce. The crab raviolis with saffron cream are a don't miss. The Tacu Tacu with seafood is good, but not a hit.

I'm not a big fan of Peruvian desserts, which I find overly sweet, so I skip the deserts on the menu most of the time.

The place is a little on the fancy side and the acoustics are not great...that is, if you have kids, everyone will hear them unless they're discreet. It's not a place for hush-hush conversations or a quiet getaway, especially when busy. But everything else makes up for the lack of ambience.

“Favorite in Quito, best pisco sour, food, location !”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 13, 2013

Had dinner one night, in their location at the Quicentro mall. Best Pisco Sour that I sampled all week from the different restaurants in Quito. Ordered Ceviche and a dish similar to Paella (forgot the name, the rice was friend, had seafood), both were delicious. Had I not wanted to sample different places on what was my first visit to Quito, I would have gone back for more.

“Worth visiting”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 2, 2013

This is one modern and trendy preuvian restaurant in Quito with its headquartes in Lima, Peru. In fact, there are two branches in Quito. The cuisine is innovative and for my standards one of the best restaurants in Quito. I have tasted many dishes there, but my favorites are the chupe de camarones (shrimp soup), black risotto and the pisco chessecake.
