I went twice to La Piccola Italia in Santiago de Chile in Centro. The first time it was expensive but ok. We ordered wine and how curious they only had expensive wine that night. Food was eatable but not like in the pictures...The waiter was nice because of the tip he got, 10% of our receipt. Of course the wine was much more expensive than 2 meals and the tip was interesting for him. The second time we went we did not order wine, only a beer and a Diet Coke. The waiter was awful. Food was ok for me but not for my husband as he got in his plate a hair, not his of course.... The waiter choose to take us not 10% for his bad service but 20%....How nice of him. He did a bad job and rewarded himself so good, incredible. All was almst thrown into our faces....Never go there.

This restaurant's food is prepared at a central kitchen and reheated at the restaurant. (They have several locations.) The offerings are basic at a reasonable price and the service is average.

The service was fantastic and the gnocchi with fresh tomato sauce was amazing. I can not wait to go back.
