“Great food, great price!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 20, 2013

The pizzas are probably what Ciudadano is best known for but it also has great salads and delicious drinks. I ate here once in the evening on a Friday night and the place was completely packed (part of the charm!). I also came here for lunch on a Tuesday and it wasn´t as full. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and would probably return early on a Friday night.

“Good and cheap food, friendly service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 12, 2013

Good option for informal dinner in a neighbourhood that is developing fast in Santiago. I went with my wife, my siblings and friends from Norway. I wanted something fresh, not too formal, and with menu with options for children. I had been there before and enjoyed their pastas and pizzas. Now they also had a good meat offer.
The combination was very good. We ordered some starters to share (empanadas and fried calamari: nothing special but tasty; cebiche: delicious), main dishes and desert. The pizzas were very good as always (thing dough, good ingredients) and the meat in the perfect cooking point. Pasta was also good although a little over cooked for my taste. For desert we ordered ice cream (OK) and creme brulle (dull). The best was the quickness of the service, the food and the price ($5.600 for a dish of meat that costs over $8.000 anywhere else).
It also had low points: they lost our reservation (fortunately they managed to accomodate a table for 9 on the spot), no menus in english and although the waiter was able to translate very well, he confused "sparkling wine" with "champagne" (which is not that condemnable after all). Ambient was a bit loud, but OK for our purposes.

“One of the best Pizzarias in town”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 19, 2012

Cuidadano is definitely a hotspot in Santa Isabel (3-5 minutes away from the metro station). This place is almost always crowded and on Friday and Saturday people might consider to go there early as the waiting time for a table could be really extensive. The pizzas are good and for around 4000 pesos not expensive whatsoever. The best part about this restaurant is the wide selection of beer at reasonable prices.
