“Great art!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 27, 2014

If you like street art, you definitely have to go there! Amazing murals. Sadly this Museum is less known than the one in Valparaiso, but it's so much better and well maintained!

“Must see for graffiti enthusiasts”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 20, 2014

This "open air museum" in the San Miguel neighbourhood of Santiago consists of about 40 apartment buildings which have graffiti murals on them. Various themes and social messages can be found, ranging from images depicting Chilean culture, to more abstract pieces. If you're looking for something "off the beaten path" then it's definitely worth setting aside a few hours to take a stroll through here, not only to appreciate the art, but also to see a part of Santiago which is not normally in the guidebooks.

Directions: Take the subway to Departamental (line 2), then walk west on Departamental street until you see a block of apartments with the graffiti. The other streets with the artwork are Tristan Matta and Carlos Edwards, between Gauss and Autopista Central.
