“Nice”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 9, 2014

It was one of the hotels I felt well. The personal was. The rooms are cleaned. The internet works all over, even in the elevator :). The food was really fresh n good, even they got not very much variety. It was the second time I was there, after the 3 years and the hotel got a lot of improvments, even 3 years ago it was ok too. The prices were not so high even they got a central position, fresh air zone, and nice views.

Room Tip: Upper floors got the best Santiago's view.

We spent 2 nts at this suite hotel and loved it. The hotel is more of a suite/apt. hotel on a quite street. Checkin was very efficient and even though we arrived early from the US they had a room ready for us. The front desk staff is very polite and helpful. Alejandro the concierge is a sweetheart (he is from Canada) and gave us various tips and was of great assistance.

The hotel is smaller than its sister property (the Ebro on the next st.) but I thought it was more personal. We had a studio suite which had a good size bedroom, living room a small kitchenette and a tiny dining table for 2. Exactly what we needed for a short stay. A buffet breakfast is included which is the standard basic stuff but sumptuous. There are 3-4 suites per floor so very quite. The suite had a tiny balcony overlooking a st. at the back.

The hotel is a few blocks walk from the Metro station: Tobalaba. You can take the red line to the city center and most of the sights - Plaza de Armas, the Palace, Bellavista neighborhood, San Cristobal, downtown marketplace and Los Dominicos where there is a quaint church and an artisan market. We also took the blue line to Plaza de Puente Alto from where you can take a short cab ride to the Concha y toro winery which was worth a visit. The newest and largest mall Constanera is a short walk from the hotel. The Jumbo grocery store was a good place to purchase some basic food items and drinks. We took a shuttle from TransVIP from the airport to the hotel and used another shuttle service back to the airport. There are several restaurants close to the hotel and at the mall.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Plaza el Bosque and I would highly recommend this place for a short stay.

Room Tip: Choose a higher floor and a 1 bedroom suite.

We stayed in an apartment with 2 rooms, a family of five. It was very convenient because it had 2 rooms, 2 bathrooms and a sofa bed in the living room. It also had a small kitchen. The main bathroom was very nice. However my children complained about the size of the shower in the second bathroom. The breakfast, which was included, was very good. Also outstanding was the concierge, who made several reservations at restaurants. The hotel is located in a very nice part of town with a big mall 3 blocks away.

We stayed at this hotel from 5th to 8th of February and honestly cannot fault this delightful hotel. We had a lovely 2 bed/2 bathroom apartment. Our room was located quite high with lovely views over the bustling city and those amazing Andes mountains.
The front desk staff were always so helpful, pleasant, and efficient, especially after having spent more than 30 hours flying from Australia (via the US). With such a long journey behind us we really wanted the check-in process to be smooth and fast. I think from arrival to the hotel to the time we were up in our rooms was well under 10 minutes.
When we arrived in our room we found them to be well maintained and the housekeeping efficient. I remember the massive king size bed being so comfortable and welcoming especially after our long flight. The room was fitted with a lovely little kitchen with all essential appliances and china if we chose to cook.
Each day we enjoyed a pleasant buffet breakfast down in the main restaurant that offered various American style fare such as eggs, bacon and sausages, as well as the European fare of, pastries, cheeses and cold meats plus plenty of fresh fruit and breads and cereals, a good variety that kept us going for much of the day.
The location was great as we could go to the big multi storey shopping centre only a couple of blocks away and the subway is also nearby. The area of the hotel was located in a safe and pleasant location with little cafes, restaurants and small retail shops surrounding the hotel. I would certainly recommend this hotel and would return if I had to travel to this lovely city.

Room Tip: Higher floors are good because you don't capture the noise of the bustle of the city below. Many...

We stayed here for 3 nights upon our arrival in Santiago and for 3 more nights at the end of our Chile trip. Our rooms were great both times (actually they are suites with tiny kitchenette, living area, bedroom and bath). The staff were extremely helpful...all spoke English...and the buffet breakfast was very good. Located in the Las Condes area, about 2 blocks to the Tobalaba Metro stop. We would definitely stay here again!

Room Tip: Our first suite was on the 14th floor. On our return trip, we had a suite on the 4th floor - same ro...

We have stayed at this hotel for two nights and it was awesome experience. Spacious apartment with huge balcony, two bathrooms, large living area + fully equiped kithchen. Staf was more than great and alway ready to help. We have booked oneday trip at the reception to Valpariaso and Vina del Mar and it was superb. Driver Martin told us a lot about the region and its history and we had a really great time during the trip. We will come back again to this place sure if we come to Santiago.

I stayed in this hotel for two days during a business trip to Santiago. This is a suite hotel with rooms like apartments. I had a room on the 15th floor and it had a small kitchen, dining and living area. There was a large bedroom and bathroom. The buffet breakfast is on the 17th floor. The area seems nice and there are lots of restaurants near the hotel.

Good
- Check in was fast
- Free internet that worked for me consistently
-Bed was comfortable
- Room dark and quiet
- Elevators were fairly fast

Other
- My bathroom could have used an update
- I couldn't get the shower to work so I had to use the tub. I didn't realize there was this small metal handle in the tub and I hit my elbow on it. Wow, did that hurt!
- Bathroom window didn't have a good seal so it was cold in the bathroom and noisy
-Breakfast buffet was just ok - nothing really exciting. They did have some good hot chocolate
