“Nice hotel, close to great restaurants, exceptional service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2013

We stayed here in late June and early July and were quite happy with the hotel. It is extremely well located for access to restaurants and shopping, and the neighborhood is urban but still cozy with lots of side streets lined with trees. Rooms are spacious with nice work area, table, couches and nice bedrooms. My only knock on the rooms is that the WIFI was pretty weak. Every morning breakfast is served on the 17th floor as part of your room rate, and it is a nice breakfast of fruits, juices, pastries, eggs, meats, etc. The views from this restaurant are great, and we were amazed by the fog rolling in one morning. Front desk and concierge staff were really helpful, housekeeping did great jobs with rooms. Did not eat at the hotel restaurants, but did enjoy the bars. We would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Views to the east or south looking at the Andes are incredible.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2013

Stayed here for a week in early March 2013. Had a suite on the 4th floor. Bedrooms are tight, but good enough. Couches in living room are odd and very uncomfortable. Small kitchen was a nice amenity, but only used refrigerator. Balcony space was nice also.

One weird thing about the 2 bedroom suite: 1 room did not have AC or a TV, while the other room had both. One bathroom was large and the other was small. Despite this, it worked out for all.

Free breakfast was the same every morning, but it was good.

Next to a mini-mart and across the street from a mini-grocery store. Many restuarants within walking distance, including a Starbucks. Largest mall in Latin America is a 10 minute walk. Metro is less than 5 minute walk.

I would recommend this to anyone needing a hotel in this area. Easy access to other parts of town.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 9, 2013

I spent 4 nights there with my family (husband and 2 kids). Our Superior Quadruple Room had plenty of space: 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room and separate kitchen with refrigerator and stove. The accommodations were frugal but since the rates were very reasonable I am giving them a 4 stars.
The staff was nice, but I would expect that more people spoke Portuguese, since it seemed that we were the majority of the guests. I can't say about their English. Fortunately Mr. Esteban, the bellhop/concierge, was very attentive and helped us a lot (in Portuguese). I'd like to send him our special thanks.
The apartment needs some improvements in order to become perfect. The main drawback was the lack of a second TV set. Since there was only one TV at the main bedroom, the kids were always sharing our bed with us. I would also add a separate air conditioner to the second room. During the hot summer afternoons the bedroom was very uncomfortable. The shower of the second bathroom is so tiny that we didn't use it.
Despite of these problems I would go back to Plaza El Bosque Suites, since its great location (subway, great restaurants, shopping mall) and spacious rooms make up for the flaws described above.

Good Hotel, very well located. The rooms were improved. Free Wi-Fi, safebox, minibar (no alcoholic beverages at fridge not even at the restaurant). The bathroom is too small... the chocolates of the minibar were old

Buen Hotel, muy bien ubicado. Los cuartos fueron remodelados. Internet gratis, cofre, minibar (sin bebidas alcoholicas en la heladera ni en el restaurant). El baño es muy chico... los chocolates del minibar estaban viejos

I stayed at el Bosque Suites last January to attend a conference that was to be held at the W Santiago. The Las Condes Neighborhood is a very nice posh area of town.
This hotel offered a reasonable rate and was within walking distance to the W and other hotels and restaurants in the area.
The suites were very nicely furnished , with folding doors dividing the bedroom from the kitchen/dining/ living area and had a nice view of this area of Santiago.
Las Condes area is very nice, I went jogging in the area twice during my stay and about two blocks from the hotel you will find a great variety of restaurants and bars,
Breakfast was very nice.

Very nice, well located boutique hotel. Rooms are small (bathroom VERY small) but clean, well furnished and with nice views on the street. The bathroom has everything you need, there is a mini bar & safe. Free wifi. Breakfast good but selection offerd limited. We had a very pleasant stay except for the experience with the staff: on various occasions we had to call the desk and the laundry and never got any answer (weird). One day there was no wifi connection and no one tried to help or find out wifi it did not work. Later we asked for a personalized tour with driver, we were offered 4 differnt costs for the same thing, then we selected one for a specific price but were later told it cost a different amount without one of the options we wanted. On the tour the driver gave us again another version. Had we had more time, I'm sure it would have been better but this time we felt a bit...cheated.

Room Tip: Try for a high floor

The suites are very comfortable, with a small kitchen and a living room.
I have been staying there for years and they are very consistent.
Very good service, and the only problem could be the front desk that is very small and if there is a group checking in/out, be prepared to wait.
The breakfast in the penthouse is simply fantastic. The prefect combination of great service, great food and a fantastic view.
At night, there many restaurants close by, within a 10 minutes walk you can find Argentinean, pizza, american and typical Chilean seafood.
