“Costanera Center, the tallest building in South America”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2013

I truly enjoyed it. I live in Copiapo, Chile, where there is no mall plaza yet... (They will open a big one in December 2013). So I was thrilled to step into what I was acustomed to... good stores, quality products, shoes, purses, international brands. Loved it! Oh! And the construction is really impressing. Don´t miss it!

“Largest and Most Modern Mall in Santiago”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 2, 2013

You can find all the shops and amenities you'll expect of an an American mall at Costanera. Located in an area dubbed 'Sanhattan', Costanera is a pretty swanky mall by South America's standards and houses American and European brands like Zara, Topshop, and the continent's first H&M. There is a good selection of food court stalls and restaurants in the mall's Patio Comida on the top level. Ask at the concierge for shopping perks if you're a foreigner.

“The best mall”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 1, 2013

Costanera Center is the biggest mall in Santiago. Everything you want you certainly will find there.
There are good restaurants on the 5th floor and on the 1st. there is a big and excellent Jumbo store.
If you are in downtown you can take the subway (La Moneda Station) and in 15 minutes you are there (Tabalaba Station).

“A Shopping Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2013

I'll keep it short, you want a shopping mall experience in Santiago head to the (relatively) new Costanera shopping center in El Golf - it's a shopping experience. There are other local shopping malls of the long all in one American style mall but the Costanera has them all beat.

“Chile's coolest ... though that's not saying much”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 30, 2013

Almost every taxista in Santiago proudly brags about the Gran Torre: South America's tallest and the Southern Hemisphere's second tallest after Queensland Number One. This is also home to what they claim Chile's best shopping mall, very new and modern indeed (especially compared with an average centro comercial in Argentina). But the shops are mostly American brands, with a few European (but not high-end) boutiques and Asian electronic stores. Anyone from the States will reckon it as a suburban mall in an upper-middle class neighbourhood while shopaholics from Asia will be disappointed given the much greater variety available in malls in their home countries. The fifth floor has about 40 food outlets but isn't it sad to see locals queueing for junks at Taco Bell and Applebee's? On the positive side, many staff speak English and it's easy to find a taxi or only 5-min walk to the metro (Tobalaba station).
