The hotel was clean and good value for the price. We were jetlagged when we arrived and could only speak limited spanish which proved a little difficult. We had a bit of trouble getting a taxi back to the airport and staff seemed annoyed to arrange this. Probably not a refleciton on the hotel though. A good cheap option though.

After losing a domestic flight due to a long delay in São Paulo, we decided to stay three nights in Santiago, checked availability in the Accor app for Iphone and wen't there without reservations.

We were readily served, booked a room and didn't regret.

We've been to Santiago before, so we knew Providencia neighborhood was one of the best locations, if not the best, and the Hotel was brand new (opened in 2012), with usual Ibis facilities and standards, and free wifi.

I thought its price was a little bit above the average Ibis, but perhaps it was more due to a little devaluation of Brazilian Real and a discrete strenghtening of the Chilean Peso. Even then it was good value for money.

As always, Ibis is a safe bet for those who want a clean confortable and inexpensive place to rest after a long day out.

Room Tip: Pick the highest possible room. We were at the 9th floor a still could hear the buses in the morning...

This hotel was well located in Santiago, but a good 40 minute drive in rush-hour traffic from the airport. The rooms were functional and well-equipped with comfortable beds and good electronics. The bathroom was very commendable. We were here for just one night in Santiago, but I would also recommend this hotel for longer-term stay.

Great location, friendly staff, and clean, efficient room. IBis is good value for the money. This Ibis is located in a beautiful section of town which is very walkable and safe. There are many good restaurants nearby, including a very nice sushi restaurant just next to the subway/metro. The sushi place was full of young couples enjoying a beautiful summer evening.

Ibis rooms are not large or full of spacious furniture. They are efficient and make terrific use of limited space. They are definitely good value. We have stayed in many. The one in Providencia had good English-speaking staff, if your Spanish is limited.

Room Tip: Rooms on higher floors are quieter.

Ibis Standard small rooms, no breakfast included. Provided at the price of 3.300 CLP per person, which isn't at all a fair price, after the 50.000 CLP price tag of the room.

The rooms are clean and well lit. The toilet has a built in hairdryer for the ladies. The shower is a bit small.

The TV set has a headphone outlet as well as Video and Audio in-plugs. This means you can plug your video camera into it or perhaps a DVD player or a Video Game, laptop, whatever.

The hotel is conveniently located near the Manuel Montt metro station, and there is a grocery store within 5 minutes of walking so you can buy stuff to avoid the terrible rates at the hotel bar and room service.

There is no mini bar inside the room so you are forced to cope with the terrible rates.I decided to avoid this altogether and buy my own food and drinks.

Alcohol is expensive in Chile, especially imported liquors. If you are coming on an international flight and think about buying your own scotch at the Duty Free store, don't hesitate, it's much cheaper than in their local retail stores.

Cab ride from the airport costs 19.000 CLP.

The bed is very comfortable, on of the best I've seen in a while, but the entire experience of the hotel is bland and business like. It's Ibis standard, not much to talk about.

People have complained about the old towels but when I went there they must have changed them because I couldn't notice what the complaints were about.

The room only comes with one mini soap and another mini shampoo. Not enough for 2 people to shower once. This is cheap, I didn't enjoy this bit but it's ok I guess.

Wi-Fi is solid and free of charge.

As the title said ,this is as average as it gets.

Room Tip: Ask for rooms in the top floors. The hotel is located near avenues and the traffic noise may bother...

The rooms here are pretty standard, as you would expect, but they are clean and comfortable. We had a room with a great view on the top floor. Check-in and check-out took forever, which was irritating & seemed to always be the case based on the constant queue at reception. Breakfast was fine - good selection, but average quality and was always very busy. The staff were generally very pleasant, particularly a young guy who checked us in & gave us some great tips on places to visit in Chile & some language practice! However there was one particularly rude woman on reception who was annoyed we did not have the correct change for a bottle of water and was especially unhelpful when we asked if she spoke English (her colleague did, but she refused to get her from the office right next to her!). Otherwise, we enjoyed staying here - it is easy and convenient for the attractions (close to the subway and walkable to many bars and restaurants).
