“Half Day Tour”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 13, 2013

We booked this tour at the last minute through our hotel, and without any research. The grounds were excellent and the wine cellar impressive. However, the wine tasting was not very good with only two wines on offer. The audio/visual presentation in the wine cellar was "corny" and an insult to your intelligence.

The tour company did little more that pick up at the hotel and drop back and their co-ordination was poor. On the positive, it was a nice break from being in the city and we saw some of the countryside. Don't expect too much more than that.

“Enjoyable and interesting vineyard experience. Highly RECOMMENDED!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 10, 2013 via mobile

I brought my client, who was playing at Lollapolooza in Santiago, to Concha y Toro. He owns several vineyards in the US and is not easily impressed. Upon arrival I requested to speak with a manager. I was introduced to Guillermo. He spoke excellent English and offered my client a special tour because he was a winemaker. The guide was very passionate and spoke good English too. The tour was interesting and my client enjoyed it. At the end, they presented us to a sommiler who did a private tasting with my client. The experience was outstanding from arrival to departure. Well worth the 1hour drive from Santiago.

“Wonderful tour!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2013

I loved going to this winery! You had ample time to photograph while learning about the vineyard and grounds. The highlight was going down into the cellar where they keep the Diablo in barrels, then getting locked in the cellar to watch a little film. Would highly recommend this tour, again!

“Nice tour for a day outside Santiago”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 7, 2013

We enjoy visiting vineyards in each place we visit and while in Santiago we decided to go all the way to Pirque and visit Concha y Toro.
It's a very nice spot, full of green and nice for a walk among trees and vineyards. The tour was in Spanish and our guide (I think her name was Elisa) knew a lot about wine, and the story of the family.
Of course their target is for you to buy their products, but they weren't pushing at all.
We had lunch at their restaurant and our waiter wasn't very kind/professional but food was fine.
It's worth a visit if you are staying 4 or 5 days in Santiago!

“Great english speaking tour guide.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2013

We attended this wine tour with a group of 30 people we had booked a private tour. Although we had very good weather and the tour guide was friendly and spoke very good english I was not impressed with this tour. We were only given two wine samples. If you wanted to purchase wine but wanted to try it first it cost $5.00 for a sample (a glass of the wine) . We found the gift shop expensive. There was a selections of clothing, hats, post cards and wines but none of these items were resonably priced.
The bathroom was accessable and clean. The tour was short but filled with alot of history of how the winery began, although we were not allowed to go inside the original home. We did get a chance to sample some grapes that happened to be in season. All in all I give this winery a 6 out of 10. I was not impressed with the cost of the wine samples or the cost of the gift shop.
