Easy to get to by Metro. On Saturday mornings, there is a fruit and vegtable and flower market in the public park where the locals shop. No extrance fee and no hard sell. Even if you don't buy anything, it is pleasant to walk around and look at the handicrafts and jewelry and a few antiques. The bathrooms are free and were very clean. There is a snack restaurant and another serving more substantial meals. As elsewhere in most of Chile, the food is fresh and nicely presented.
