“awesome park”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 16, 2013

the park is very nice. clean and interesting. You have to register when you walk in but it takes 15 seconds. You can go to the very top of the castle and you get a pretty good view of the city. Do this first and then try to spot it when your at the top of San Cristobal.

“Must see if you are downtown”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2013

Just on the edge of the business district, it is a nice escape and has great views of the city and the mountains. Free too. You can walk up no problems through a series of staircases and paths.

“Great view of the center of Santiago”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 6, 2013

From the top of the cerro Santa Lucía you can have a. Great view of Santiago, however try to go when there's no pollution, like after a rainy day. Be aware of the stairs which are very rocky and not to big, so you can easily fall.
It's a must if you are in Santiago. Also, try to go near noon and find a nice surprise!!

“Cerro Santa Lucia. Incredible!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2013

Amazing view to the city of Santiago.
The lift to the top is antique and very charming, little scary as it goes up, but it is safe.
Great opportunity to take a break from the walk. Take the time on the top to rest and appreciate the view.
The Cerro is a walking distance from Patio Bellavista, a good place for a coffee or lunch.

“an oasis within the city”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2013

Cerro Santa Lucia is a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of downtown Santiago. If you're there in December, head for the far side of the summit to check out the agave plants: some of them grow stalks of truly impressive size. You'll need to know your passport number for signing in (although in my experience it is very rare that the guards actually check your ID). The gift shop by the main entrance had slightly higher quality (and more authentic) items than the Feria Artesanal across the street, and at competitive prices, too.
