Absolutely horrible experience. When we first walked in, 2 waiters were arguing over whose area we should sit in (completely inappropriate and unprofessional). We then ordered BBQ Ribs, Taquitos, drinks, among other things. First of all, the ribs were dry and had a very slight drizzle of bbq sauce on them, which is why we ordered more sauce to at least make the dish edible and with some sort of flavor in it. The taquitos tasted terrible and were soggy. We had half of one and left everything there. Not to mention that the waiter didn't even bother to ask us if the food was alright, he just took the plate away without even caring about the customers or why they would leave an entire dish practically untouched. The worst part was getting the bill and realizing that they charged us $900 pesos for the 'extra' bbq sauce, and $9000 pesos for 2 pisco sours! We couldn't believe it and called the manager over. Even while we explained to him how bad the food was, he kept defending the food, saying that the taquitos in his restaurant were supposed to be like that (so basically, soggy). Already very upset from having had a bad dinner and frustrated over terrible service, we paid the bill. They had the audacity to give us our change and keep 10% of it! My friend could not believe it, got up and walked straight into the kitchen to find the manager and demand our full change back and give him a long lecture on how decent service should be, especially at a place like Patio Bellavista. One of the worst dining experiences EVER, even in Santiago where service is not their forte, but this was just embarrassing, TERRIBLE does not even begin to describe how bad this place is.
