“Great way to see Santiago”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2013

Our free tour with Jonny was great! We got to see alot of the city by foot and the tour was longer than I had expected. Especially enjoyed learning some of the history we would not have otherwise. Great idea for anyone that only has 1-2 days in Santiago. Jonny also recommended other spots and Valapariso trip that helped us plan the rest of our stay there.

“Perfecto!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2013

Franco was an excellent guide, enthusiastic, knowledgeable and open to questions. It was a good pace, about 4 hours long, including a 20 minute coffee break. It gave me a great orientation and introduction to Santiago. I highly recommend this tour!

“Good tour - very helpful orientation”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 1, 2013

This tour is a great way to lock in your Santiago fundamentals. It is a realitvely painless way to lwarn some local history as well as getting some insight into the locals. I'd take the tour the firat or second day to minimize the amont of stuff you habe already seen. Franco was great you can tell he is proud of the City and really wants his guests to have a great time in Chile. For a non Spanish speaker the chance to ask questions was a real bonus. The tippimg aspect is no big deal - you will feel good about what ypu give.

“6 hours in Santiago”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2013

We had a layover of approx 7 hrs in Santiago. What to do? This is it.
We got a taxi into town and picked up the afternoon tour. You can bus or shuttle but we wanted to save time. We paid $40 USD for our taxi but coming back it was only $30 on advise of the guide. We arrived at 12.45 and by 1.35 had cleared customs and were at Plaza de Armus.
We knew a tour started at 3pm so we had a quick look around first. About 12 people in total with Filipe for our guide. It was great to find a person so passionate about the history of his city/county and so knowledgable. It was such a relaxing walk after being cooped up in a plane for long hours.
You stop about every 5 min to learn something new. Unfortutunately we had to leave the tour early (around 6.15) but the tour was to continue for about another 45 min. Filipe directed us to find a taxi and we arrived at the airport earlier than required (could have stayed a little longer). It was still worth the tip (we gave 15000 peso for 2 people) and felt we received excellent value for money. If planning to spend longer in Santiago we agree with previous viewers that this tour is an excellent introduction to exploring Santiago at your leisure. Note that it does cost to leave the airport even if only on a layover but it was so much better than sitting in an airport.

“Free tour with Antonio”

Our free tour with Antonio was really interesting. In a few hours we had a complete overview of the city and the company was pleasant. If you are in Santiago, don't miss it!
