“Great Price! Great Place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 19, 2011

Great place to stay! We stayed for a week there... the apart hotel is downtown region of Santiago. A little far away from the best places in the city, but nonetheless a great place for a fantastic price. Nice and cozy rooms! Great service if you need it!
I would certainly stay there again!

My wife and I stayed here for a week in early May. Our apartment seemed to be one of a group of managed apartments in a large apartment complex; so our first point of contact was a rather disinterested building janitor at the front desk. However, our apartment (a duplex, with bedroom and bathroom upstairs and full kitchen and large lounge downstairs) was very new, spacious, comfortable and well-equipped. It was kept meticulously clean by a housemaid, who appeared at irregular hours but who was thorough and nice. The location is fabulous - right in the centre of the city; yet the building and accommodation were very quiet. There were some quirky events - it took me some time to locate the fitness centre (in another tower of the building complex), only to find that its good array of electric powered machines had no electric power connections; and, on pointing this out to the person on the front desk, he just looked at me as if I were mad to expect anything different (a friendly local resident who helped my translations just looked at me in a friendly way and said "this is Chile.."). The laundry is also located 24 floors up on the top floor of yet another tower, with its tokens available on the ground floor somewhere else, and we eventually found the reception for the company which managed our apartment on another floor of yet another tower... but I digress. These minor issues aside, the quality, location and value of the accommodation were outstanding, the whole thing costing a little over $600 for the six nights we stayed there.

This hotel was a wonderful find. It was shockingly reasonable for the high quality of the room. We appreciated having a kitchen so we could fix breakfast and grab a snack. The location (at the base of Santa Lucia) was perfect--we could walk around downtown and Bellavista and were close to the subte for any other locations. We could absolutely stay here again.

Definitely head up to the rooftop and have breakfast or watch the sunset--it had some beautiful views of the city.

Super comfortable and convenient little studio apartment in central Santiago. After a month of traveling, it was a real treat to make our own breakfasts, do our laundry, and have a rest in the afternoons after walking around the city. Bonus points for the big Lider grocery store next door. Please note that there is no hotel lobby to assist with your travels. Instead, you get to stay in an apartment building with the locals. Wi-Fi throughput was weak.

Very clean, very central location, very reasonable price. Apartments smartly decorated and felt very new. Right next door to a supermarket if you don't want to eat/drink out all the time but surrounded by nice cafe/restaurants. 3 mins from a tube station and loads of places walkable. Staff EXTREMELY friendly and helpful (Patricio was so helpful, informative, efficient and reliable, Nicole really lovely too). Every apartment has a welcome basket to get you started. Very helpful if you arrive late in the day. Roof top area to sit outside/sunbathe and take in fab views of Santiago. Pool "refreshing" I think (not a pool person so didn't try it) but that is great cos Santiago gets pretty hot in the afternoon. Just a great place to stay for business or pleasure and would definitely stay here again if I was visiting Santiago

We stayed in the Plaza Suite for several nights, as we wanted to have the flexibility of an apartment instead of being in a hotel. The Plaza Suite is excellent. The location is very central, close to the main historic sights, restaurants, right around the corner from a big supermarket (handy for last minute groceries). The apartment is compact, with bedroom, living, kitchen and bathroom. All very clean and modern. Kitchen is well equipped. It was our home away from home for a few days. If I come to Santiago again, I'll be staying here.

This apartment complex is very well located near the Belle Artes subway station with a good supermarket very close. Opposite the supermarket is a great little vegetable and fruits shop where the quality of the food and service was excellent. So we bought our fresh food there and the toiletries etc at the supermarket. Location is excellent because you take a subway (one stop) to Baquendano and the you can quickly get either to Providencia or go the other way to Central where there is a wonderful cine complex. There are some Chinese cafes VERY CLOSEBY across the road on Merced. Actually this complex is between the parallel roads of Merced and Huerfanos. You can access the place from either road. Merced is where the supermarket is and is near the subway at Belle Artes.
Juan was extremely adaptable and helpful when we arrived and went out of his way to make our stay a pleasant one. He helped us many times and we were very grateful for his assistance. His English is excellent and this makes it a lot easier anywhere in South America- especially Chile where the locals speak Spanish very rapidly.
The room was very clean with a wonderful kitchen and a nice balcony. For the price this was excellent value and this is now our home base in Santiago when we return soon to this fantastic country. Love the people of Chile! Very courteous, laid back pleasant people indeed, especially in this apartment set up.
