This hotel offers spacious accomodation with tiny kitchen and living room. Bathroom is quite small but nice.
On the 17th floor there is a bar, good for aperitivo.
Breakfast is ok, quite a good choice but the espresso is an extra and in any case is not good.

We stayed three nights. Lovely hotel in great location. But my wife had an accident in the gym - a bench fell on her hand. Hotel staff jumped into action and got her to the hospital and sent a translator with her. Really over the top service.

Stayed overnight at Plaza El Bosque Ebro having arrived in Santiago but Iberia lost our luggage. The staff at the hotel were so helpful contacting Iberia on several occasions in an endeavour to find our lost luggage - which was returned to us 3 days' later. Lovely hotel, great accommodation, excellent location. We really enjoyed the breakfast! We are most grateful to both Reception and Concierge staff for all their help.

We found this hotel on-line and were pleasantly surprised when we arrived to find it to be even better than we anticipated. Well located on a quiet side street, the lovely lobby was a prelude to lovely accommodations. Because we arrived early in the morning after an all-night flight from the US, we didn't expect our room to be ready. However, the hotel staff directed us to their lower level health club where we would find clean and well-appointed separate shower areas for men and women furnished with thick luxurious towels, which we were happy to use. After our showers we went back upstairs to find that not only did the hotel have a room for us, they upgraded us to a very nice suite! We highly recommend this hotel for travelers.

Our misadventure with this hotel began with the reservation process. Nicole, the online reservation agent bugged us to death about our arrival time. As we were flying standby, we couldn't give her an accurate response until a few days before the flight. We were to arrive at the hotel around 11 am and she said if we wanted to check in anytime before 3 pm, we would have the room if paying for an extra day. She verified we could leave our bags with the concierge and come back at 3 pm, but there would be no way we would have access before 3 pm without paying the extra day. We have traveled all around the world and have never encountered this type of revenue raising program before. Usually if there are rooms available, you have access. Otherwise you wait, which we have had to do several times without problem.
Well, when we arrived the front desk people said we could get right into the room without any wait as there were rooms available. No mention was made of the reservations policy quoted us.
Unfortunately the keys given to us did not work to open the door. After three trips back down to the front desk for new keys, a bell hop accompanied us only to find the electronic door lock was broken. They moved us to an inferior room (we had reserved an executive suite as pictured on their web site). We said we would wait the several hours it took to repair the lock on the original room.
OK, finally settled, we started to relax and enjoy the wonderful city of Santiago, and especially the upscale neighborhood of Las Condes.
The next day, after exploring the city further, we returned to the room to find the maid waiting for us saying that we had to change rooms because there was a heavy flow of water coming out of the light fixtures in the ceiling from a water leak in the kitchen of the roof top restaurant above. No choice but to change rooms and again we were placed in an inferior room which was far from what was pictured for our reservation. Not all of the suites are laid out in the floor plan shown. Many do not have the bedroom area directly adjoining the living area - there is a solid wall between them which makes two claustrophobic rooms rather than the nice large area shown. Nevertheless, we had to pack and change rooms as there was no other option unless we were to check out and leave (the thought crossed our minds).
No accommodation was offered to ease this run of unfortunate experiences. We asked to see the manager to lodge a formal complaint. He appeared but seemed genuinely unconcerned that we had been inconvenienced. He did not offer us a better room, he offered no discount (we were there three nights), but, after being prompted, he said he would send a bottle of wine. The bottle of wine turned out to be a half bottle which was already available as part of the minibar in the room. There was a delicious cheese plate which arrived with the half bottle. This hotel is totally unconcerned with customer service and how other hotels customarily respond to problems which their guests encounter.

On the flip side of the equation, this is physically a very appealing building with very attractive furnishings. The roof top breakfast with its spectacular views of both mountain ranges and the valley between was top class. The hotel is located on a leafy street and is a short walk to many interesting restaurants and shopping opportunities. The largest mall in South America is a few blocks away.

Despite the plentiful pluses, we would probably choose to stay elsewhere in Las Condes should we return to Santiago.

Room Tip: High floor away from the traffic noise
