“It could be better”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2012

The restaurant could be better. It is located in a nice area, it is a cozy chilean farm house, nice garden, good food, but the overall service could be improved with some minor changes. There are details that reflect lack of maintenance and care.
However it is a very good option to go with large groups in Santiago.

“Expensive and REALLY not worth it.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed January 18, 2012

OK so it's not THAT expensive. However, once you try it you will find it is very expensive for what you get. Very small portions and mediocre cooking techniques for a restaurant that boasts culinary mastery. Locals love this place but trust me, you won't love it if you aren't Chilean.

“Good food, poor service”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2011

We chose the "Maridaje Gourmet" menu, which includes a starter dish, soup, main course and dessert. For each, there is a good selection of dishes, featuring Chilean and international cuisine. Each dish is accompanied by a specific wine, carefully selected to go with it by their sommelier. Everything we ordered was very good.

Service, on the other hand, was not so good. We had reserved a non-smoking table, and we were sat outdoors, which seemed fine until people in nearby tables started smoking. When we complained, they moved us to a table indoors. Then, as they started serving the various dishes we had selected, we noticed that they were serving Merlot for everything. We then asked to see the menu again, and, of course, many of our choices were supposed to go with other wines, not Merlot. After we complained about this, they brought the Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenere and Syrah...

So, if you go there, you will like the food, the wine and the price, but you may have to watch that you get what you ordered!
