“Great starters and wine”

Start with a pico sour - one of the best one can find in Chile. Excellent starters, notably king crab and abalone. The mains are not overwhelming, but fresh and good, including the signature dish, maï maï conger eel. Extensive wine list, includiong some very good Chileans. The décor is warm and friendly, and service is attentive.

“Ritzy place for a special night out”

We went here on the spur of the moment, so the place was packed with no seats. Ended up at the ceviche bar in the back and had a great night.(Make reservations if you want a table) The prices are steep but the seafood was great. The ceviche chef took a liking to us and gave us a couple of freebie samples. He joined in when a fit of the giggles overcame us and even took out picture. The place is a bit noisy but the decor is nice and service was very good.

“Excellent in Every Way”

I used to go to the old restaurant before it burned down and thought it was great. The new building is wonderful. The seafood was very fresh and the service excellent. I wish I had gone there two nights instead of gone on a recommendation somewhere else the night before.

“Seafood plus”

I had a business lunch here and was very happy with the food and service. The ceviche cama corvina was very good and large enough to share. I had the conger and it was very good. Nice wide open space inside and the service is very attentive. Lunch bill with no alcohol, but with deserts was just over $100 USD

“Worthwile fish restaurant”

The restaurant for years has a top reputation in Santiago. After it had totally burnt down some years ago it reopened receiving a nice uplift in the ambience. Food is still good, with fish as its speciality. Prices are on the higher side especially since the ordering of starters and main dish are expected. WIne list, as in most good restaurants in Chile, is good. Advance reservation recommended. Parking available and is oficially free, however the valets strongly ask for a tip.
