“Delightful hotel in amazing house”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 18, 2012

Just the entrance, with its lovely french door arch, invited us to stay there. The hotel has few rooms; the result of an old house renovation. A lot of attention has been paid to furnish it with beautiful antique furniture giving it a very warm atmosphere. Views of the lake and volcanoes are expansive and the beds comfortable.
The restaurant did not disappoint with a varied and fresh menu. Kudos to the chef.
We thought it was a real find.

Room Tip: Make sure you have one of the superb goose down comforters in your bed!

The room had an amazing view of Lago Llanquihue and Volcano Osorno, but was not worth the ~CLP100000 that we paid off-season. Room was not particularly quiet - I was woken at 7 am by the walking around of the couple in the room above us. The breakfast was a huge disappointment, consisting of canned fruit, pre-sliced cheese and 4 slices of salami. No avocado, no egg, no good jams - which are normally standard in a Chilean breakfast.

We stayed in this exquisite Petite Hotel while visiting the Chilean Lake District ( BEAUTIFUL)
-we had a delightful cousy room
-ample storage space throughout the room.
-our room had a lovely view of the volcanoes and lake
-the hotel and room were architecturally unique, decorated beautifully and well maintained
- Spotless , lots of character

-Highly recommended
-one of the best features are the staff, who were very warm, friendly and provided nutritious home made breakfasts
-we found the location to be excellent .

Great facilities at the perfect location. Just in front of the lakeshore, gorgeous view to the Osorno volcano. The Hotel is cozy and the personnel are fantastic. Warm inside and perfect to relax and see the rain outside.
My wife and I really enjoy the trip to Frutillar at Ayacara

Small and with varied rooms. Some have poor views, one is wonderful (El Capitaine). Will negotiate on price if not busy. Very friendly and good service (tea in rooms). A good choice.
Frutillar is good for a day or 2 stay but usually virtually nothing on in town. More a base for visiting sothern lakes.

This hotel is well located on the shore of Lake Llanhique and is a good base to explore the area. The room was excellent and staff very helpful although this is a small place and with the same family occupying the rest of the hotel we felt at times that we were intruding. Breakfast involved home made cakes, breads and even guacamole. Unfortunately the weather was pretty bad with constant rain so we couldn't do as much exploring as we'd hoped - you need a car and Frutillar is somewhat limited out of season. Nevertheless, this place looked like one of the best options in town and comes recommended.
