“Nice Sapporo Ramen Miharu Japanese Ramen”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 12, 2012

Mrupupup enjoyed one of the better Japanese ramen in Singapore. Located at the ground floor of Gallery Hotel (tuck in a corner) in Robertson Quay area along 1 Nanson Road. The Sapporo Ramen Miharu Store sells very nice Japanese ramen and the staff were friendly. The Japanese ramen was good and the noodles very springy. Mrupupup loved the big piece of char siew pork and the half boiled egg in the ramen. The noodle soup came with items like corn and mushrooms. Mrupupup got to sit on a Japanese style table with a hole in the centre. Mrupupup also had a plate of pork meat gyoza dunplings with perilla leaf ,which make the dumplings more fragrant- pretty good and yummy. Mrupupup ordered the Tokusen Miso based Japanese ramen (menu item no.1) about $13.80 and the dumpling (gyoza) with perilla leaf about $6.50. Very nice place to have Japanese ramen and do take note of the queue during weekends. Do finish up the ramen soup if you are there for it takes hours to boil the soup. Yummmyssss!

“There's better ones out there.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2012

The ambience of the restaurant is really authentic but when it comes to the food, there are definitely better ones out there. My htb and I are avid fans of Ramen and we do go hunting in search for the best ramen in Singapore. Heard many raves about this one but i'm not impressed really, perhaps I've been too pampered by the pork cheeks at Santouka. The slices of pork were too tough, the soup base was too thick.
Furthermore, my tamago was pretty much cooked, a tad bit runny in the center but not really up to my expectations.
Its really just so-so i reckon, perhaps value for money? I don't know.
Ippudo & Santouka would really be better choices. (:

“Hidden Ramen”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 22, 2012

There are too many choices on the menu, so we asked the waitress to introduce us the best sellers. We had the miso tonkotsu (miso pork broth with some garlic oil) after the few suggestions, 2 of us shared 1 bowl as not to have too full during this late night. The toppings were standard - bamboo shoots, charsiu pork meat, corn, seaweed and a half boiled egg as you can see from the picture below.

The ramen costed $13++ and before I tried, I saw the review said that it is salty. I think most Miso ramen taste slightly salty than the normal one. Noodles are good, egg could be better, char siew is fine.

Overall, I will come back if I happen to pass by but wont purposely travel here just for it.

“Good Ramen”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 7, 2012

If you are in the Robertson area and craving for Japanese ramen, you can't go wrong with this place. Authentic (with a Japanese chef), and without most frills, it gets you filled and off you go. It's a small place with a mixture of tables and counter seats, be early if you don't want to queue.

“One of the best ramen restaurants in Singapore.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 26, 2012 via mobile

Wonderful, authentic Japanese ramen in Robertson Quay. Slightly hidden at the back of the Gallery Hotel away from the river. My go-to ramen in Singapore and one of the best options in the Neighborhood. Recommend the dashi shio - perfect every time.
