“Very small room”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed November 9, 2012

Bought this room from groupon. Reasonable compared to hotel prices in Singapore. But room is small and basic. Service is slow. When we checked in, there was no blanket on the bed. We called couple of times to send blanket but only send few hours later. It is close to Vivo City, just one stop using the bus. From Vivo City, you can take a bus at $2 return to Sentosa Island. We spend the whole day at Universal Studio.

Breakfast is very basic. Coffee, tea, slice bread, sausages, eggs, baked bean, potatoes.

“Tiny Room”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2012

We were on transit for one day in Singapore on our return trip back from Glasgow. We paid Singapore $120 for one night. A bit pricey for the type of room and location. Room was tiny and had a funny odour. Served its purpose for one night stay but it was out of the way from shops or restaurants.

“Budget Hotel, not at a budget price”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2012

My wife and I stayed at the Harbour Ville Hotel in room 304 during September when the Grand Prix was on. The room was very basic, clean and being a front room there was a lot of noise from the street. Not only noise from the street, we could hear the next rooms TV through the thin walls and housekeeping made a lot of noise at 5:00 just outside our door.
The TV was in poor condition and the TV volume only went up. The bath towels were small and thin. We did not get breakfast because it was a Sunday morning. Did I get value for money and would I stay here again? No and No! Even though the Grand Prix was on, it was not worth the money.

Room Tip: Stay somewhere else.

“Tiny rooms very near sentosa”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 2, 2012 via mobile

Arrived late afternoon but apparently they were expecting us as the room was ready when we got in,aircon was not working and told this to front desk, they advise that it will be fixed as soon as we get in that night, so went to chinatown to have a meal and shopping. One bus stoo and your in chinatown quite convenient as I find chinatown a good place for shopping, cheap and beautiful things, souvenirs could also be bought here cheap and good quality bought nail cutters for gifts and they were only 1$ bought a dozen to bring home, satisfied so went back to the hotel but the aircon was still not working and advised to front desk, rowena who was on duty took care of us at once and offered to transfer us so that we could sleep well as we were going to sentosa the next day-thanks weng that did the trick at least we had a good night sleep, breakfast the next day was average but enough to fill u up, sausage, eggs, beans chicken nuggets not bad....sentosa by the way is only one bus stop away then you go down to vivocity. And ride the monorail for $3.50 very cheap and convenient spent the whole day in sentosa and had dinner at food republic vivo city which had good and cheap food 15-20$ for two yummy,. When we got back to the hotel and aircon was fixed already so had a good night sleep. Everthing bacl to normal with the room, overall there were problems incurred but was resolved by weng, lovely filipina girl who made things better, by the way the girl who handled the shift before weng did not know anything if the aircon was fixed, management should know peole like that who does not know customer service should not be working there, she is not an asset to the hotel, if she does not know anything she should not be working there, overall pleasant stay bec of weng who took care of the aircondition problem

“Too small”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 29, 2012

We travelled as a family and I called a week before arriving asking what is the best room type to book online = Failure. The rooms are so small. They should have gotten some space from the restroom and convert it to bedroom space. Their pantry area (note, not a resto), is something I really did not expect. Not much choice of food and we had breakfasts where they even ran out of food for us. ...because only one staff is taking care of all 40 plus people. One thing good though about this hotel is that it is very near Vivo City. It will just be a 5 minute taxi ride and you'll be in the Sentosa jump off.

At the time of our visit - the ceiling was dripping in front of the elevator. Not good. I really don't know if this is a hotel or should be called a motel.

Room Tip: ask that you check the room first before you check in.
