I find it puzzling, it is a only mere 3.5 hours or so of flight time between Singapore and HK, and yet I can not find any tasty dim sum restaurants in Singapore. This 'Ah Yat' is no exception, at best mediocre, for its price: the 'har gau' wrapping was dull, opague, uninviting, the 'siu mai' was bland in taste and chewy, the 'cheung fan' was over cooked. The service was difficult to find, apart from bringing the food and tea, and the bill. The only good thing here is the space between the tables!
Why is it so difficult to find a good Cantonese/Dim Sum restaurants in this part of the world!
