“ONLY FOR THE SAKE OF BUDGET AND NOT AT ALL GOOD FOR THE TOURISTS, INDIANS AND ESPECIALLY THE VEGETARIANS”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 18, 2013

Four families stayed in two rooms from 08 sep 2013 to 15 sep 2013. each room was inter-connected. hotel is about 15 minutes walk from the pasir ris mrt. not suitable for family having infants and elders. bbq pits smoke will be spread around completely from the evening till 2 am atleast. vegetarians should never stay here at all. wifi is good.i give absolute zero for the maintenance and cleanliness of rooms.they clean it every alternate day and not daily.i could find stray of hairs and dust beneath the bed and also in the rooms despite after immediate cleaning.hotel is good for bachelors and couples.swimming pool very good.waterworld very good.only mcdonald is available after 10pm.evrything else closed.hotel staff not courteous.though requested them to permit early checkin, got the room keys at 14:30 and still the cleaning was going on.when entered into room, bad smell.during checkout, they dint even allow extra one hour and had to come out in rains.good hotel for locals not for tourists.need to shelve money daily for catching taxi and mrt.indians should preferably go and stay near little india in good hotel or else they will struggle for food.vegetarians will vomit in this atmosphere. shuttle service is very good but one need to wait for an hour. one should carry anti mosquito repellants. Side beds are full of marks and unhygienic and they dont even put bedsheets on it. money wise its fine and moreover they allow inside the rooms more people (like 4,5 or 6 even) that is the biggest advantage. else its a complete flop show at the resort for the tourists. I recommend HI Hostelling members to go for Hangout instead of Downtown east.

Room Tip: always take a room on the first floor instead of the ground one coz the bbq smoke and noise of peopl...

I've stayed here for 3 nights and honestly it isn't as bad as people complained. It's true that BBQ is a little bit noisy but hopefully I wasn't bothered by these people. The room is fully equipped with air conditioner, shower and wifi. You can easily find food around (a lot of small shops around the corner and also fastfood) The only convenience I can find is the location, close to the airport but quite far from the downtown (roughly 45mn by subway) Anyway I really enjoyed my stay there, that's worth the corresponding price and I recommend this place

Room Tip: there's no need to select your room because the BBQ is everywhere, so if you get luck you will b...

I and my friends stayed here for a week and it came as a complimentary since one of our closest friends happens to be working in a Singaporean company which is affiliated to this Hotel Resort. I was totally amazed with the artificial beauty of Singapore. From organization of traffic to the amazing engineering feats as well as how really clean the whole city is of which they are known for. I was really impressed with the cab drivers because they are disciplined and what's more impressive is that, they give you your exact change up to the last cent (which made me realize how shameful SOME Manila cab drivers are). Upon entering our unit at the lower ground (property is a low-key, there were only 2 floors in each building), I instantly liked it. There were four of us and the room is equipped with 2 doubles and 2 rollaway beds. TV was a flatscreen. The comfort room was spacious enough. All the towels, linens, etc. were in plain white (it could have been better if they have chosen a more vibrant color but it was totally OK). Great thing was that our room is near one of the gates, we had the best access to the restos, bus stops, waterpark (which is totally another property but is just adjacent to the hotel), hotel pool, BBQ area, benches in their not that spacious and not so decorated garden (Better stay inside your room at night since there were lots of mosquities). Clean water is easy since there were a lot of water dispensers placed in each building (you just don't forget your own container). The only thing that I would like them to improve is their customer relations. I am not sure but maybe that's how most Singaporeans act. They are not that friendly and seem to be minding their own business. I remember one of their staff I met along hallway who did not even seem to know how to greet their guest. Anyway, that all about it. All in all, SG is positive!

Room Tip: "A lot of mosquitoes at night so better stay inside your room"

Stayed here many times with friends, and the longest period was for 3 weeks when i choose to stay here as i was renovating my home.

It is quite big complex scattered with 2 storeys building housing the rooms, there are no in-house restaurant, but there is a huge foodcourt, small eateries and some fastfood joints, the usual KFC, McD, Starbucks, etc.

The room is basic and clean, but the bed mattress is thin, and the blanket is even worse. The shower facility is adequate, but the aircon is nice and cool.

More of a Singaporean family and the usual busload of budget tourist, get very noisy during weekends and holidays. Otherwise on a normal weekday, it is peaceful and quiet.

My stay include coupons to the water theme park Wild Wild Wet and the now defunct Escape Theme Park. The complex had its own swimming pool at the Lobby rooftop with some see thru glass panels.

I feel it is getting more expensive these days compared to few years ago. However, it is still ok for the price you are paying, especially in expensive Singapore.

The beach is just at the end of the complex, there's a side door you can access. Recommended to go for walks by the lovely beach.

This resort is a targeted place for MANY Singaporeans to spend weekends or holidays for 3 main reasons:

a) it has a large amount of pic nic areas as well as bbq grills
b) it has a waterpark literally next to it
c) it has a mall next to it
and naturally, because it's cheap

The place is alright, it was clean and if you're not a fancy traveler the place does the job. You can tell it's not SUPER new, but it's quite cheap in comparison to other places.

The biggest issue I would say is that it feels very crowed. Dozens of Singaporean families spend hours cooking bbqs even until 2-3am, which can sometimes be heard inside the rooms.

NOTE: You won't really spot many other western tourists as the vast majority of the guests are locals; families will find it really awesome as the water park is actually quite cool and there is a McDonalds and Burger king less than 2 minutes walking from the door of your room.

It takes a bit to get to the center of the city, I'd say between 30 to 40 m by MRT

Room Tip: The resort is very large; if you get a room at the far end, you will feel the walk (Singaporean heat...

Stay there for 3D2N as per required by website. Dunno what kind of ruling is it. Everything is fine except the room, Wild Wild wet is just right outside the chalet along with Cheer, Food Court and other amenities. The room is old and worn out. i think never upgrade for long time. No free parking available. If not for the BBQ pit, I would prefer to stay in Hotel. The BBQ pit was built so near to one another and the space provided for sitting is also small.

Stayed for one night only. And it's because we want to have a BBQ at night and a very short break is needed. Booked a family room with discount (thank god for the NTUC member's rate otherwise it's totally not worth it). Two queen bed set side by side. A living room with sticky floor below the sofa. They must have skimmed mopping under the seats. Equip with a refrigerator (smell), a microwave oven and a round dining table with three chairs. Two toilets available, not a good sight to look at. Desperately in need of overhauling the whole lot - with the rates they're charging!

PROS
- BBQ pit just beside your room, good for family gathering.
- Lots of shops and eateries available nearby

CONS
- No free parking for guest
- TV with blur pictures
- Loud noises from nearby pits, as late as 1-2am
- Broken fan control. It keeps stopping and we have to turn the control again to make it work.
- Dusty wardrobe
