This restaurant is known for its chicken collagen hotpot (collagen is supposed to make your skin beautiful). The hotpot is only served during dinner with a minimum of 2 persons to order this.
Lumps of collagen pudding are served in a hotpot and once heated up, it will turn into concentrated chicken soup.
Chicken pieces are buried within that collagen goodness. Other ingredients to be placed into the hotpot are tori tsukune (i.e. minced chicken to be made into meatballs), prawns, yellow zucchini, watermelon radish, wintermelon, black and white fungus, yuzu, chinese water spinach, chinese cabbage, lettuce, deep fried tofu and mushrooms. The hotpot set also includes a serving of noodles and 3 options are available – Thin Egg Noodle, Rice Noodle or Thick Mochi-mochi Noodle.
Ensure that you arrive at least 30min before the restaurant opens for dinner, to ensure that you can get a table as they do not accept reservations and the restaurant fills up very quickly. I only managed to eat this on my 3rd attempt, erm...I meant visit.
