“Great location, neat and clean”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 16, 2014

Nice staff, clean shared amenities and tidy room. Free WiFi, Mac computers and couches in the reception area. Being a hostel, the room was small as expected, but my friend and I had plenty of space for our packs. The negatives were that there was no window in our room and it smelt musty.
Awesome location; Boat Quay is a riverside strip of places to eat and drink and walk along. It's very near the Clarke Quay shopping complex and train station.

Stayed here for one night and it was not good. The price is high, small rooms, you have to wash your dishes on the breakfast, bad coletive bathroom (not clean, small and no ventation), you can hear everything in your room there are no acoustic quality. Nice location in a fancy area ( Clark quay - there a lot of restaurants, pubs and clubs).

We arrived at singapore last sunday, and we went straight to this hostel by taxy from airport, it costed us $30, quite expensive since the driver was not a help at all :D my hubby had to ask around by himself to find this place, not easy since it was already in the middle of the night ! But people around were very helpful and they are familiar with the hostel. We passed several bars before reaching the place, well...i think it is not a good thing for children to see, but maybe very recommended for young couples. For old people, i dont think this place is suitable, they have lots and lots of stairs. Mind the knee cap :) it was quite a shock to find out the size of the room with our own eyes, for 3 persons, we felt like suffocated. We could't move around in the room, if we wanted to do something, the other person need to sit or lay down on the bed. Not recommended for family travelling. I do agree with all the comments before about the bathroom. It was dirty. I havent had any shared bathrooms experience before when i travel, it was my first. Actually if people can be more cooperative and make the bathroom clean after they use it, it could be no problem at all. I met with the staff who was in charge to clean the bathroom, i believe her name is Kareem - i dont know the actual writen, she is from Myanmar. She was the only staf who smile - i am really sorry for writing this, but this is the fact. Staffs, please smile a lot:) Kareem was very kind and always help with sincere heart. Not to mention, quite pretty. Watch out young boys!
Well, if possible, i would like to keep in touch with her, if the admin staff could send her my regards, i would like to have her email address.
The pantry, the view, the interior, all were great.
Last but not least, for family Big No, for young people Big Yes. Now, pack up your suitcase and make your booking now, young people. And have fun ! God bless !

Loved my stay here. The rooms were clean and modern. The beds were really comfy. The bathroom was clean. I stayed in two different rooms and both were great. They have a great social area which a patio that overlooks the river and Marina Bay Sands. The staff were really helpful. Highly recommend this hostel. Probably the best I have ever stayed in.

The room is very clean and there's an AC adapter beside your bed. The staffs are very kind and helpful, they can give you advices about how to roam around Singapore. The bathroom is clean, you have hot showers, shampoo and liquid soap are available in every showrering booth, and you get one free towel for every guest upon checking in. The location is near circle road and clarke quay, so you can find a lot of foods and nightlife at night. MRT is 10 minutes walking.

I had a difficulty finding the hostel at first, since I used taxi to get there (it cost me S$ 14 from the airport). The hotel is located across the river from parliament house. So if you found the parliament house, alight the taxi just right after crossing the bridge, then walk on the boat quay street alongside the river.

Renovated from two storey old shop lot. This contemporary hostel have clean rooms with sufficient facilities. Breakfast and filtered water provided. Location is excellent as near to Clarke Quay and 5-10 minutes walk to Clarke Quay MRT station. The hostel is located within bar and food area. On top floor, there is a balcony where you can have great view of Marina Bay Sands & Fullerton hotel.
Bathroom and toilet a bit far from my room and the finding ways is tough at first as the layout is like a maze. Some toilet is smelly and don't seems to be clean. Breakfast needs to be improved.

Having owned a backpackers myself, I was very impressed with Project Boat Quay. Even though it was a bit hard to find, I must commend Jenny, a lovely staff member who came all the way to the main road to greet us.

The design of this motel is amazing. 60 something rooms in a very small area. One of the most comfortable mattresses I've slept on. The staff a very accommodating and helpful with its comes to information.

I only wish that the bathrooms were a little bit more cleaner. The rooms were top class.

Would highly recommend.
