“Nice clean hotel in a great location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 26, 2014

We stayed at the Bliss Hotel for two nights in early March. Our flight arrived late so we didn't check in until after 1am. This was no problem as they have a 24hr front desk. Close to the MRT plus the Chinatown food court area is only a couple of blocks away. Chinapoint shopping centre is across the street where they have several food options for breakfast and you can get excellent coffee etc at delifrance. The rooms are spacious and the wifi is good. Good value for money in Singapore.

We stayed at the Bliss hotel for 4 nights having booked through agora, having arrived at around 9pm on our first night we had no trouble checking in. On check-in they do require your credit card in order to deduct a $50SGD bond.

We opted for the standard room with no window view, which was fine as we intended to send most of our time in singapore exploring the city anyways. The room had the standard double bed, bathroom, tea and coffee facilities, tv and desk. The only problem with the room was the layout of the bathroom, the shower was designed in a way, that every time we took a shower the whole shower, including toilet area would flood. The basin was a lot located outside the bathroom and next to the door, which made part of the room a little slippery.

Free wifi was also included with fast internet connection.

The location by far the most favourable quality of this hotel, it was literally across the road from the chinatown MRT, which made it easily accessible to almost all locations in singapore. there is also a convenience store located next door and the maxwell centre was an easy 10-15minutes walk away.

Overall, given the relatively high price of goods and services in Singapore, the Bliss hotel is a good choice for a conveniently located accommodation for travellers

Just returned from our first trip to Singapore and loved it.
Although bliss hotel doesn't have a restaurant, Chinatown is a short minute walk and offers a verity of delicious foods. The staff were attentive and friendly, especially the young man who helped sort out a room key problem for us.
Rooms can be small varying on what type you have but it's no big deal. Who spends time in Singapore in their room all day?!
For anyone on a budget, I would highly recommend bliss hotel and we will certainly be back. :)

It is our first time to go to Singapore. My mom, brother, and I booked a Family room last year. We arrived around 11 am and we understood that our room isn't available yet, so we took our lunch first at People's Park Centre. But, due to our exhaustion since we had an early morning flight, we went back to Bliss Hotel around 1230 pm. For an hour, we waited and noticed that they allowed three different group of tourists for an early check in. I followed up on our room and the female receptionist told me that our room isn't ready yet since the housekeeping is so busy because they had a full house yesterday. She said that our room will be ready by 230 pm. I just wished that they prioritized preparing our room first because they knew we were already there before the other groups arrived. However, they gave us our room around 210 pm, which was fine with us.

Anyway, we still had a great stay at this hotel. Located just across Chinatown Exit E, it is centrally located and the tourist spots are just within reach by MRT. Although the hotel doesn't have a restaurant, it's no biggie since there are soo many eatieries around the area. Even the Chinatown food street is just 3 streets away.

Our Family room, which has a Queen sized bed and two single beds, was more than enough for my family. There's no noise leaking from the street and we had four complementary water bottles per day. The shower room was nice but the sink is located outside the shower and comfort room. There's no closet, only hangers and hooks. TV channels is limited but it's okay since we were outside exploring Singapore most of our time.

Overall, I still would like to thank Bliss Hotel for living up to its name and providing us the stay we wanted for our first trip to Singapore. If I were to go back on Sg again, I will definitely stay here again.

We stayed here twice over a 9 day stay between Singapore and KL.Firstly the staff are fantastic nothing was to much for them, always accommodating and smiling. The rooms are very clean but the carpets in the passage way could do with a clean or replacement.
The hotel did have small rooms a bit awkward in the layout but if you looking for budget with a great location you really cannot go wrong.
We love Asian food so the we were in paradise as far as choice goes. Across the road in Chinapoint Plaza there is a tremendous dumpling resturant were you can actually see the them make all these dumpling and sweet buns, with there surgical masks.
The rail system (MRT) was really good making it really easy to get to all the tourist spots.
I cannot wait to return to Singapore again and I will definitely stay at the Bliss hotels again. Thanks Bliss for making it a great Holiday.

My partner and I stayed over at Bliss Hotel for a short stay back in July 2013. This hotel is centrally located in Chinatown, close to the MRT station, which is great as it made traveling easy and convenient. We thought the price per night for this hotel was decent, compared to other major hotels in the city. We were on a budget and this hotel was good enough for us. The room we got was very clean, and service was overall good. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this hotel and if we were to visit Singapore again, we will most likely stay here again.

We stayed at this hotel from 6th of March till the 9th. The location of the hotel is perfect. From the airport, take the MRT to Chinatown (you have to change the line 2 times) and exit through exit E. At the exit turn right, cross the street and walk to your left about 100 meters. The hotel is right there. The MRT system is great, it takes you anywhere in the city and you are very close to Marina Bay and downtown. The hotel is very nice, rooms are spacious enough, clean and tidy, the area is very safe and you can find very good food and a lot of cheap souvenirs in Chinatown. We stayed in room 4013 and it was a little noisy during night due to ac's outside units placed near the room. I am a light sleeper, but with ear plugs and being very tired from visiting the city all day long, I slept with no problems. The staff is excellent and helpful, giving directions and instructions for everything you ask and need. We will definitely stay here again, so we do recommend this hotel for your stay, if you don't need luxury.
