“Good location and excellent staff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 week ago

I came with 11 of my family members -- 4 of them seniors and 2 were kids. The girls and kids stayed in one 8-bed room while the boys slept at the 6-bed room with the other guests.

Location is good - less than 5-minute walk to the Lavender station; three nearby bus stops (2 at Lavender Street and 1 at the MRT station); 10-15-minute walk to Mustafa. We also discovered a local supermarket within the residential area. You'll also pass by the Fair Price mart on your way to the MRT station.

Helpful staff - Marichu is the best! She's very helpful and accommodating. The hostel had many guests when we were there but she was able to accommodate and assist everyone. She gave us directions to the zoo and the mall at the expo train station.

We got our discounted Singapore Zoo tickets from Traveller@SG. They offer discounted tickets to other attractions as well.

Beds were comfortable...a little too soft perhaps, but were clean and has no bugs. The lockers were big enough for our valuables.

Breakfast was perfect. The all-day availability of coffee and tea was a plus, especially for the seniors in our group.

As for the kids, they were able to maximize the available laptops. WIFI connection was fast.

Our stay at Traveller@SG was so nice my family started asking me why we haven't thought of staying here all the other times we went to Singapore. I definitely would use Traveller@SG again.

Room Tip: Ask for the 3rd floor rooms so you'll be close to the kitchen. Reception is also on this floor...

Location is great, just walking distance from the train station, Filipina staff is very helpful. It was my first time to be in a 6 bed mixed -dormitory as a solo traveler and I am not scared to do it again because of my experience in this hostel. It was great.

the only downside is the toilet it can be dirty and smelly in the evening and morning. I think they clean only one around 1 PM.

Room Tip: Ask them to give u a lower bunk bed

#Latepost

This is my first time I stay in a hostel and it was not so scary at all.

Booking for 3 nights for 4 dorm, but when they arrive they give you a room with 6 beds without mixing with other guests.

The rooms are clean enough but the bed really too soft. Staff very friendly and helpful. The Hotel location is very close to Lavender MRT, Fair Price Supermarket and food court. Lavender is only 1 station to Bugis.

Kitchen is open 24 hours with free coffee, tea, oatmeal and milk also 24 hours free mineral water in the kitchen and they also provide a refrigerator in the kitchen for the guests.

Nice place for the traveler budged and will be back here if traveling with a friend.

Rgds,
SL

Room Tip: I prefer the room at the 3rd floor (2nd floor is the kitchen, living room and receptionist).

the hostel is indeed very accessible, just 5 minutes walk to Lavender MRT. The hostel is also surrounded by 3 food stations open for 24 hours. It is also just 30 meters from the supermarket. The staff are well mannered and they are always there to assist the guests, give information on where to go, what to see and how to get to the best places in Singapore. The rooms are cool and clean, the beds are a bit soft, I like mine hard but overall this hostel is great and commendable. Free breakfast is a plus with toasts, jams, choco and peanut butter.

It was my first hostel in travel around Asia. And it was wonderful. I like rooms. very nice rooms and toilets. everything is clean. Near metro and shops. sometimes we walked into the center. had great neighbors with whom are still friends. we lived a week and no problems have arisen. Breakfast really helps. Thanks for such a great place for the budget traveler

This hostel did not give us any problem at all. We had great value for money and it was a practical choice as we were out all the time.

Pros:
- a lot of toilets for everyone to use
- has washing facility
- near the train station
- very efficient staff
- rooms are of reasonable size (it's bigger than Formule1 or Ibis Budget rooms)
- the kitchen is clean all the time
- bathrooms are always clean
- they have hair dryers!
