“Great Ambience and Food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 27, 2013

We went there on Friday night and it was very impressed with the excellent service. The staff were polite and engaging.

Usually if you go to a restaurant in Singapore for Asian food one would be serve large potions of food for appetisers etc but not here. The potions were excellent and the time between each course meant that we had time to appreciate each course rather than having to gobble our food all at one go.

Well done

“The best of Asian Fusion”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 25, 2013

There are several points that make this restaurant a very special experience. First the food is the best of Asian fusion such as mixing special Singaporean chili crab with Italian pasta- this was superb. There were small plates of just very special dishes to full main course meals. The second aspect that makes the restaurant special is the attention of the manager making sure everything is perfect. Thirdly, the location in Raffles which is an icon in Singapore where one is gently remainded of begone era and you are transported back in time. One of our friends coined a new word colonialishie!

Lovely ambience, unobtrusive and excellent service. Very impressed with the chill crab pasta and seafood gratin. Definitely worth another visit.

“Wonderful dining experience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 24, 2013

I had a truffle fries, salmon and soup at the restaurant.

The fries have a unique truffle sauce dip. Very distinct flavour. Very delicious.

The salmon was cooked perfectly and the soup with sourdough bread, very comforting and memorable.

Ambience at the restaurant was cozy and very welcoming. The staff, well-trained, polite and exudes warmth in their interaction with you.

Overall, a wonderful experience that makes me want to drop by again and again.

“Excellent choice”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

Went there for dinner and all the glowing recommendations were well deserved. Fairly casual, nicely decorated and comfortable. The service was excellent, totally unobtrusive, dishes were well explained (love the small and big plates) and it was nice to see staff who seemed to enjoy interacting with guests. We got 2 small plates of the carpaccio and duck and 2 big plates of the chili crab spaghetti (which was actually al dente) and yellow fin tuna - all excellent, full of flavor, not one of them a letdown !
Will definitely go back and recommend to friends.
