A good place to understand where Singapore stands on one of Core Pillars of Total Defense
Simulated target shooting with the SAR21 & M16
Hear the voice of Goh Keng Swee when National Service became a part of every 18 year old boy - serving the country as a teenager and completing it as a young adult
Simulation shows regularly thru the day
Mini-obstacle course outdoors and a Discovery Centre just next day if you have a whole day to spend your time

“AROUND THE ISLAND – TOUR EAST SINGAPORE – VERY IMPRESSED.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2013

Picked up at 8.30am and transferred to a very busy Singapore Flyer transfer. With everything running smoothly we were lucky to have a very informative tour guide (Philip). The tour to the Kranji War Memorial was very moving. On the bus on time and on to the next stop at the Bright Hill Temple. Philip again was very informative and took extra time to explain paintings on the walls. Lunch on the tip of Singapore overlooking Malaysia – the restaurant staff were extremely kind and the food was the best we’ve had on a tour in a long time. Next stop was the Changi Chapel and Museum. This was the highlight of the tour for us. The only negative I have here is that we wished we could have had a little extra time. (40 minutes was not enough). Next stop was Gardens by the Bay – we did most of this the day before (which we thoroughly recommend), but because of the short time once again, we opted for the $5 per person audio mini bus ride. This was an excellent way to get around the garden, if you didn’t have enough time (approx. 1day) to appreciate the gardens. If you are lucky enough to get Philip (who you can tell loves his job and history) we would thoroughly recommend this tour.

“A secret”

Great museum: you can fire an M16 or listen to simulated battles. Staff are excellent and rightly proud of what they have created here. Can't believe am the 1st to review it!
