“Save the money”

Not very stylish, and the food was rather average and bland. We had some dull cheese filled deep fried jalapenos as well as some good sliced iberian sausage as starter meant to be followed by some beef kebab (which as way too rare and had to be sent back to the kitchen) and a fatty pork chop that was indeed boring. The starters and main course was served simultaneously which is in itself a bit amateurish opinion. Waiters were friendly enough but not very attentive, no questions asked if we would like pepper, salt etc. and if we were ok with the food. The main positive here is the big room for improvement.

“Of Onion & Oysters”

"O" so good - if you happen to love oysters and deep fried onion wedges (mind you) in batter. My husband and i are loyalists bordering fanatical if we like a restaurant for whatever the reason - and we have been back to Onion every other week. The seasonal oysters from australia, chile, africa and france are just so fresh to the palate. Order the tapas set and you get a lovely red of cab sauvignon from france thrown in with the delectable trio of tapas variety. Their speciality is iberian ham sliced off the bone and done in a variety of ways. Small portions. Pain point is the lighting: slightly too warm a white on stark walls. Service is in the 'undivided attention' to overbearing category. Parking is free and ample on weekdays as you can park in front of the restaurant. Can't vouch for weekends though. Still, am loving it for the food!
