My wife and I arrived at the Conrad Hotel at 10:30 am after our flight back to Japan was cancelled. We were ably checked in my John Park at reception and shown to our beautiful room quickly. We were on the 24th floor and I recommend staying on as high a floor as possible to take advantage of some tremendous views of the Marina Bay. The hotel facilities were immaculate. Our room size was reasonable (we stayed in a "classic" size room) and our bathroom included a separate tub and shower. A brief visit to the pool was extremely pleasant, with attentive pool staff and beautiful pool. Our HHonors status gave us access to the executive lounge, which included wine, beer, and fresh fruit, beef and chicken satay, smoked salmon, etc; as well as free breakfast. The breakfast buffet in the morning provided a wide-selection of western and asian breakfast cuisine, including fresh orange juice. My wife and I will likely return to Singapore sometime next year and will certainly stay at the Conrad Centennial. It's close proximity to Marina Bay, numerous shopping malls, Orchard Road, and plethora museums is reason enough. But, in my opinion, this hotel is worth visiting in its own right.
