We recently stayed in a Premier Room for 10 nights. Could not have asked for more at an incredibly reasonable price (advance booking). Our arrival at 4am was not a drama and we were shown to the rooms (adjoining) and alseep within 20 minutes. The Premier room gives you access to the Premier Lounge - that alone was worth the money. A small dining room for breakfast - fabulous attentive service by David, Zee and Crystal - by the third day they had the tea and egg orders down pat. This dining rooms had the BEST bread and butter pudding I have ever had - better than the one at the Raffles! The best part was the happy hour from 6-8pm daily - spirits wine and champers plus yummy snack food - you could easily skip dinner after this! During the day the lounge is available for tea coffee and soft drinks - fabulous idea! The Premier rooms were very large with comfy beds, super comfy sofas and a good work area. Love the long balconies too. The complimentary laundry service (2pieces per room per day) was so handy for getting pants etc clean. Room service was prompt and delicious. Also one morning before leaving for the day we managed to pull a handle out of the tiles in the bathroom. Being in a hurry we left if on the floor to deal with on our return. When we got back the handle had been replaced - obviously picked up by the room attendants - good job! Pool area is large and clean - we are quick to bring you a towel and offer you a drink as well. This hotel is about 300m from Doby Ghaut station and Plaza Singapura - which makes it central to everything! Underneath is a food hall that sells the yummiest asian food for the princely sum of $3.50 - sing dollars. Also close by is Starbucks and so many other shops. Fabulous place to stay - big clean functional rooms at a reasonable price - we will be back very soon!!!
