I have used trip advisor a lot with healthy sceptisim but this hotel deserves it's number 1 rating. The standout is the service, 5 star boutique standards from a large hotel, relaxed but always a step ahead and friendly with it. All the little things right.
We tbooked on the hotel website using the Singapore Airlines offer and got upgraded to a business room. Didn't look at any other rooms so have no idea what this meant but the view over Singapore from the 24th floor is excellent. Breakfast great with all the normal options + dim sum!
Nothing negative to say and I normally shy away from a hotel with more than 20 rooms ....

I planned a family holiday to Singapore in Oct 08 with lots of meticulous planning and wanted to be right for everything from the word go. I wanted to go the best property in terms of service and customer satisfaction and Pan Pacific was my first choice with all reviews by tripadvisor users. While checking the rates on net and comparing with the hotel site, they immediately matched it and upgraded me to a Deluxe Balcony room with partial view of the marina bay! Besides, I always find that most hotels 'optimise' their room air conditioners at night much to my irritation. I prefer my room 'chilly'. While most hotels express inability to do anything to the room cooling for a single room, I started requesting for a table fan! Some of them dish out greasy table fan's, some dusty never cleaned. Since you do not have an option in the middle of the night, I realized its better to put up with them than do not have it at all. But Pan Pacific was something else. They got me a new fan, as I had requested in advance for a fan in the room! I could just say 'Vow"! I am happy my wife liked the hotel too. That gives me immense satisfaction. To start with the room was large with a balcony and they also gave me a complimentary bed for the child. Despite two beds the room had lots of space and didnt look cramped. The room had HDTV with all cables - first for me and a panel where one could connect to their equipment. My heart just skipped a beat when I saw their bathroom - large enough to be a room for oneself. Separate cubicle as shower room, separate with bath tub and a seating for one who wants to rest while tending oneself. How thoughtful. The pool was clean. Tried their Indian restaurant Rang Mahal. Best Indian food in Singapore. Very happy and want to come back again. Thank you guys for making it special for my family.

Great location when you go for expo´s in SUNTEC, just croosing in a tunel...

Very good breakfast....I would return in my next visit ...a pleasure staying with people that makes you feel comfortable at every time.

Its connected to multiple shopping malls and is centrally located. But for a 5 start the balcony could have been cleaner. I found used cigarette stubs in the room. Nothing great.
