“Singapore Paradise”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 10, 2013

Have stayed at this lovely luxury hotel numerous times for both business and leisure. The hotel offers a beautiful lobby, resort-like pool, and wonderful food choices. Warm, welcoming staff in all areas of the hotel who seem genuinely pleased to do all they can to make your stay a wonderful experience. All this offered in true Singaporean style. Definitely my 1st choice for hotels in Singapore.

Room Tip: Garden rooms are lovely for leisure stay. My preference for business stay is the tower.

This hotel experience starts with the warm welcome from the staff, then to chuckle at the Lift carpet ( changed daily to tell you what day it is, just in case you forget !!) followed by a spacious room, with some nice touches.
The leisure facilities are also enjoyable & even though always been here for business, would imagine a leisure stay would also be pleasant.
Best Part though is the breakfast, an wonderful selection !!

Lovely staff they are all very welcoming and polite. This was my first say in Singapore and I would love to come back. I only stayed for three days before going to Koh Samui in Thailand I wish I'd stayed longer it was amazing the view from my room and it wasn't the most expensive room but the view was amazing. I would advise going to the line restaurant the buffet was amazing all the food was good. The breakfasts were absolutely to die for the were delicious so much to chose from. I would say it is worth a visit even if its only for a few days.

Over the past 10-12 years I have staid here many times - both in business and leisure. What is so unique and good about the hotel, is that you get a resort kind of feel, even thought it´s just a 5 min walk to Orchard Road. You can´t beat that, the garden and the pool is a real luxury in such a prestige area of Singapore, many other hotels has a cramped up pool high up on a roof instead.
This is one of the big assets with this property. The rest is the high standards of service throughout the hotel. I prefer the Tower Wing and the Horizon Club which gives you good value with the nice breakfast-lounge and the free cocktail-hours, but also possibility to use meetingrooms free of charge for a while. The Valley wing is a bit more traditional in style and ambience, but also a lovely place to sip the afternon away with free champagne and High Tea if you like. The Garden wing has the most touristy ambience for good and bad - depending on what you prefer.

Having come here for many years though, you still like the place, but you start to see that there are a need for some renovations here and there, small things that you notice after coming for many years. Come to think of it, it´s like watching you loved one getting older gracefully, you see the wrinkles and the grey hair, but you understand why they are there and still love her!(feeling poetic today!).

At the end of the day, there are other choices and I have tried them as well(now speaking about hotels again!), but still I would recommend this hotel without a hesitation. However, I still hope they will start renovating it bit by bit so we can enjoy the place for long time to be!

nothing is too much for anyone at this hotel. I had the most stunning corner garden room and with little extras like 'fruit of the day' it really was special. Unfortunatley I was here on business so didnt get to take advantage of any of the amenities, however the pool and spa looked fantastic. The food was great, as were the staff - if you are in the area - definitley worth a stay.

Room Tip: get a corner room

Stayed in this hotel during my first stay in Singapore October 2011, it was the best hotel I stayed in ever. Clean nice rooms, greate service at checkin and checkout, great garden and pool. The only drawback I can think of is the location, it's a 15 min walk to the nearest subway station. No fun walking in the Singapore climate! But if you take one of the available taxies this is also no point.

Stayed here for a week on business duties - gutted, as the service and amenities are fantastic but work got in the way.
Great pool, great restaurant and very good service. The rooms on the garden wing are a little dated now, but they are still done up very nicely.
Excellent place to stay in Singers, convenient for Orchard Rd and all that has to offer, yet just far enough away to enjoy a little peace as well.
