Wonderfully comfortable, lovely staff, great location for getting around. 5-10 mins walk to sightseeing buses, ducks, trams. Stunning views. Two minutes walk to raffles hotel. easy access to shopping mall from hotel (open late)

Room Tip: Harbour view rooms are fantastic, go for above the 40th floor for the best views

We stayed on the 63rd floor with excellent views of Singapore. The location of the hotel could not be better, and the service level was impeccable. We had access to the lounge on the 60th floor, which was a great benefit. The regular breakfast on the 2nd floor was also nice, but the lounge breakfast obviously provided better views and an more intimate atmosphere.

We also enjoyed the High Tea Buffet on the 70th floor. Due to Chinese New Year the hotel provided a 50% discount to in-house guests. Our toddler also enjoyed the pool facilities, and having a mall in the basement is highly convenient. Room service was also friendly and happened twice per day. Overall we greatly enjoyed our 4 nights at the Swissotel Stamford.

The Stamford Swissotel once boosted the record of being the world's tallest hotel. The uniqueness of this building enables you to have the most stunning and breathtaking views of Singapore, if you request for a high floor room, typically 50th floor or higher, and added hereto, if you request harbor view, the Marina Bay Sands and Boat Key etc. is at your feet. Further, the hotel is one of the few which has added a tiny outdoor balcony to each room, much enjoyable if you want to inhale the fuzz and buzz of Singapore into your lungs. Finally, with a location right on top of both an MRT, a big shopping mall and the famous Raffles hotel across the street, you'd believe to be in for a great treat. However, having said all this, I must say that the rooms, and the hotel, is terribly outdated, though spacious, and is in serious need for a renovation or upgrade if Stamford wants to be competing in the luxury segment. I was put in a room with a dirty carpet and a distinct smell of stuffiness which just didn't go away even though the A/C was at full speed. I believe that Swissotel brands themself as luxury resort, sadly enough that Stamford falls far below the radar.

Room Tip: Request a high floor harbor view room

I stayed in a king size room, with great views for five days. The room was spacious but sparsely decorated and a bit dated but very clean. The room had two balconies. room service food was excellent and restaurant quality. A nice range of dishes available. Concierge and front desk very courteous. Breakfast in the restaurant was good quality and excellent staff.

It is built on top of a shopping centre and mrt station so very handy. Its about one kilometre to clarke quay and the central business district. Its also close to Raffles hotel. It had two large pools which I did not try.

Views at night are great! Definitely recommended.

I stayed here for one night while travelling.
Singapore in general is pricey when it comes to accommodation but I got a good deal on this on one of the last minute sites.

It's a vast building, I stayed on the 43rd floor. Loved the complementary kits that were available.

All in all, what you'd expect from a luxury hotel - and great location.
