The location in a "quite" part of Singapore, around Tanglin Area. It was lovely place for business trip, because we could have some good rest after a hectic day. And I really loved the food from room service (I was too tired to go outside the hotel). Good price, huge portion (it could be shared for 2 persons, while I was alone), great taste

Bog standard business hotel - well poisitioned in Singapore just off Orchard Road.
Excellent and helpful service - especially by the gym team. But the staff are working in a large hotel that is not ageing well.

Singapore has a lot of hotel options for business travellers. The Regent is one hotel I highly recommend. Location is good, service is excellent and all round it is a great place to come back to after day full of meetings.

One thing that makes the difference at The Regent are the staff. Well trained, attentive and overall nice.

My wife and I stayed on a Friday and Saturday night in November 2012. This was our first stay at The Regent & we were impressed with the entire hotel. Perhaps it was just a noisy group of people but on the Friday night it sounded like a drunken party with people singing and yelling,laughing out loud etc. until just after midnight. On Saturday night the same thing again (maybe the same group) but finished a little earlier.Maybe we were unlucky & this doesn't happen often. Our room was on a lower floor, maybe the noise dissipates on higher floors.Our standard room & the bathroom was modern,clean & large.Breakfast was excellent & everything you could expect. Service by all the staff was good.Location too was good,just a short walk or 5SD taxi to Orchard Rd.Dept. stores.
