“Clean, inexpensive, largerooms acces to metro and temples”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

Hotel is a block away from major metro,so had easy excess to go just about any interesting points of interest, safety was not of concern. The rooms were large and cozy and kept clean. No complaints.A walk north of hotel you can get a taste of local food in restaurants that line the route, and there are two beautiful Temples.that is highlighted in tourist must visit sites.China town and Little Indiais a bus ride away. Great hotel location away from bustling tourist area yet close enough to get to.

When in Singapore, be prepared to pay very high prices for rooms. Though the Hotel is new, so everything works, its near to the Metro station, also very close to CBD in Singapore. Food was OK, breakfast was decent as well. But who eats and stays long in Hotels when in Singapore.

Great new hotel. Inexpensive to be staying in Singapore.
Got myself a Deluxe room that is seriously huge being in Singapore.
Non slippery floor in the bathroom is a plus....huge bathroom for your information.

Only problem is the key card that required me to rescan in the reception to enter my own room.
Seem to have a problem with it, but other than that, everything is great in this hotel.

Breakfast is served between 6 - 10am and with lots of variety of food ranging from Western to Chinese.

Hotel is surrounded by mainly a few chinese restaurants but majority is Korean restaurants.
No worries, there is pubs as well :)

The room was next to the elevator shaft and all I heard all night was the ''ding ding ding'' of the buttons. The space in the room was not well used -- they only seemed to furnish half of the room which made it look like someone was in the process of moving out. The breakfast buffet was a zoo. It was like being in a school cafeteria.

It was not entirely bad though. I think the staff were very nice, especially the bell person.

From my point of view the suite we stayed in was very small, bedroom really small T.V. mounted on the side of wall not the front so when you get out of bed you are always hitting into it, the lounge was a real surprise only two chairs no lounge suite, look like someone had stolen all the furniture from the lounge, carpet in lounge had bubbles in it from poor installation, also had small black stains from spillages, Bathroom was nice and spaces, but unfortunately there was a long black hair in the bath which lowered my rating report. We asked for a city view but the view we received looked out over the roofs of old houses. Peter L ( concierge ) was a great help and very cheer full missed you on the last day to say thanks Front staff something missing here just not what you would expect. Breakfast was quite nice. Taxis were always a problem getting back to the hotel did not know where it was, valve for money I would say no not for $231.00 australian dollars.

A quaint hotel in a nice neighbourhood. It was quite relaxing to stay in this area without the hustle and bustle of shopping centres. Very conveniently located with a grocery nearby, a couple of restaurants on the side and a MRT station within walking distance.
Breakfast was quite sufficient and satisfactory. I like their coffee. Staffs were friendly. Room configuration was nice and the bathroom was clean and spacious as well.
The cleaning staffs could be a bit more meticulous with their cleaning and fixing of the rooms as I noticed some stains and hair on the bedsheets. There's still room for improvement. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay in this hotel.
