Booked this hotel through olotels.com with queen + extrabed configuration for 2 adults + 1 child. During checkin was given a room with one double bed. The room can barely fit 2 adults and definitely too small for 3 people. Nevertheless, staff have no hesistation in giving that room to sleep 3 people. This wasn't what I booked but the duty manager wasn't helpful at all and all he could do is blame the olotels.com website for making the error of advertising queen + extrabed. I had to top up SGD50 per night to get queen + extrabed room.

Duty manager suggests to me that future bookings should be done at V Hotel's website to avoid these booking problems and enjoy some benefits like free wifi, etc. I am sure he also expects customers to pay hotel rack rates.

Will never book with this hotel again. Rooms are very small for the price.

This hotel though convenient to MRT Lavender suffers from a number of issues.Rooms are very cramped with thin walls. No bedlamps necessitating to get out of bed to turn off lights.Caters for tourist groups who at times are very noisy.Checkin and checkout can be quite lengthy and staff and management have a poor attitude to any issue so plan exit well ahead becase connections could be missed.Overall a basic hotel that on the whole caters for tourist groups

Room Tip: Request quiet room as noise from tourist groups going up and down corridors quite noisy

Chose this hotel due to it's location and easy accessibility from the airport. We were only staying in Singapore for 1 day/2 nights and cramming in as much sight seeing as possible. Found this hotel location ideal as it was very easy to get to from the airport and is located above an MRT (underground) station - the underground was a very cheap and efficient way of getting around Singapore. Whilst the room was quite small, this didn't bother us as we were hardly in it. It did have a handy ledge for suitcases and a nice pool to cool off after a day walking around in the heat. The only issue we had was that certain guests were quite loud when walking back to their hotel rooms in the evening / middle of the night. This isn't the hotels fault but rather than guests - maybe next time i'd take some ear plugs! I'd definitely return to this hotel on my next trip to Singapore - good location and a good price for Singapore.

Stayed only for a night on transit to Bangkok. The location is great, we only had to change trains once (hoping on a different train on the same platform) to get to the hotel. Check in took about 20min and the hotel was really crowded so it also took another 20min waiting for a taxi in front of the hotel to go to orchard road( 10min drive).

Stayed in a twin room, the room is tiny and the bathroom is tinier. Not much space to move but if you want a clean place to sleep it wasn't that bad. If you want to actually relax and spend time in you room I would suggest you go somewhere else.

The location is excellent all you have to do is go up the escalators, the hotel is on top of the station and there are a lot of places to eat near the station. Kopitiam, which is next to the station has cheap noddles and breakfast (kaya jam toast, eggs and coffee for about $2) and they are open from early in the morning till really late at night.

You can leave your luggage at the lobby like everyone else does but be warned that there is not much security. We left our luggage at the lobby for a couple of hours and didnt have any problems. Check out takes 60seconds.

The hotel room is very small and barely have any space to move around. There's no free wifi and the staff is not very helpful. The only good thing about this hotel is that it is just above the MRT station, but I would suggest travellers rather staying in Bugis or somwhere else.

very convenient hotel with affordable price..there is kopitiam beside the hotel for quick access for foods..below there is MRT station -EastWest Line which can go to Changi and to other stations..alight at City Hall if want to go Orchard proceed to MRT NorthSouth Line & alight at Marina bay to proceed to another MRT-Circle Line to Bayfront if want to be around at MBS/Gardens of the bay.
not far from this hotel there is hawker centre for variety of foods (can't recall the name of the place) and a few places great for taking photos.. =)

Good amenities, nice views of singapore, very affordable rates. Its in the middle of everything in singapore, with the lavender smrt station right on the ground floor. Rooms are very clean, but the shower area of the bathromms are a bit too tight. Too bad their air conditioning system control panel was hard to figure out.
