Despite harvesting 2200 kilowatts of power and collecting rainwater at home, was nonetheless made to feel guilty for enjoying a hot shower here. Newspaper articles lauding the successes of various 'green' movements plaster the walls alongside the well-furnished kitchen, filtered water dispenser, and recycling bins. Make no mistake, if you like to drink, smoke, and lay waste to various pro-environmental habits, you will be noticed!
Rooms comfortable with the exception of the blankets provided; a thin tea-towel of sorts, considerably shorter than your average 6ft westerner. Otherwise, aircon and power outlets provided, in addition to the kitchen which is fully stocked to cook your own brekky. Make sure to flip the switch outside the bathroom to enable the hot water for your shower, whilst similarly paying attention to the note within stating how many liters you use over 5 minutes whilst taking said shower (you monster).
Very close to public transport options with hostel-owned EZlink cards available for daytrippers. Staff very friendly and helpful for anything you might need help finding in the urban maelstrom. Very good hawkers centre across the road for good food, also very close to a decent market and ATM.
