“Nothing but location”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 week ago

The hotel is situated within walking distance of happening places like Clarke quay, boat quay and Raffles Place. Within 10 minutes you can reach to marina bay, little India, sentosa and chinatown.
The rooms are a bit small but equipped with all the required amenities. Staff is good but Breakfast is average.

very easy acces to busses and metro. i can´t walk much but we were still able to use only the public transportation.
servic was exelent, staff very helpfull.
room was big enough for us 2 with 2 large and 2 small suit cases.
big wardrobe with plenty on hangers and some hooks at walls.
bathroom was very small. my husband couldnt close the door when useing the toilet. also the shover curtain wasn´t wide enough so that the whole bathroom got wet.
it was value for money althoug it would need a thorough cleaning.

@Jayleen 1918 have a very lovely terrace where you can smoke and chat with your friends. Walk distance to the Clark quay and lots of restaurant nearby. Room is not new but the cleanness is overall fine.

I visited Singapore from 24th - 25th October 2014 with my parents. I booked deluxe triple room (3x single beds) with breakfast for 1 night stay @Jayleen 1918. The room is spacious and clean.

The location is very near to Clarke Quay station and it is very convenience to catch a MRT to various attraction in Singapore. Clarke Quay and Chinatown are within walking distance.
The breakfast is good with variety of selection from rice, noodle, breads, baked bean, salads, fruits coffee tea, orange juice etc.

We arrived Singapore early at 10.30am before the check-in time at 3.00pm. We went straight to Jayleen 1918. They were very helpful and allowed us to store our luggage.

We came back to the hotel at around 9.00pm from Marina Bay Sands, the check-in process went smoothly.

The staff were very helpful and friendly too.

This hotel is all you need if you have a short night or long day stopover in Singapore. It's in a great location for the restaurants on the Quays at night, as well as night clubs and bars. For the day, it's close to shopping centres, while both China Town and Little India are literally on your doorstep too. The rooms are pokey, cluttered and not very nice, but it's great value if you wish to catch a few hours during a stopover, recharge and explore. Avoid the inclusive breakfast.

Room Tip: many rooms are tiny pigeon holes without a window. But there is no need to stay in the room when Sin...

Jayleen was very comfortable, quiet, clean, a little on the smaller size rooms which were a little musty but adequate. It is in an excellent position for MRT, Buses, Clark Quay & eating places. Chinatown in walking distance along with plenty of shops. The roof top terrace has a great view also the breakfast is very adequate with choices. Staff were very friendly & helpful. I would recommend it for the position.
