We stopped here for a very late lunch/early supper. It's a bit odd to be greeted by someone shouting 'iirashimasae!'as if their life depended on it when you're not actually in Japan, but I suppose somebody told them it added to the ambience. The laminated menu, less so.
Edamame here is ok, but not really salty enough. We both had tempura udon, and were quite satisfied with it; it wasn't amazing, but not horrid either.
Service also wasn't amazing, but not anything to get enraged by; having seated us, the servers seemed to vanish and it was ten minutes before anyone would actually take our order. On the other hand, our food did arrive quickly, and our waitress was later very attentive, so perhaps we just arrived at an odd time.
