From the moment we stepped in the door we were given VIP service.
As we were handed the menus, the server explained the concept of the restaurant (authentic Peranakan and upscale Peranakan) and recommended that we try a variety of items from the menu the classics and the premium lists. We chose the classic Beef Rendang, Prawns Gulai and Premium Crispy Pork Belly. The beef rendang melted in your mouth and has a lovely slow burn that will awaken your mouth. The pork belly was just a piece of heaven. The Prawns Gulai was filled with huge prawns and a lovely rich flavour.
The servers were attentive and genuinely interested in talking with us about the restaurant.
